Too much sport
Congrats to the Dub minors. 6/7 of their minor footballers are also on the hurling minor team. Tipp have a similar ratio as do a lot of counties. Some are also on the u21 panel. Being on two/three/four underage county panels, plus playing for their schools/colleges and probably playing minor, u21 and senior for their clubs as well. Add in studying for the leaving cert or college and throw in some media interviews. Is this putting too much pressure on youngsters and can 16/17/18 year olds play too much sport and also, should the underage championships be played later in the year so as not to coincide with exams.

I think they should either start in July or finish in autumn time. The schools cup in rugby is probably the best example to take from another sport and that finishes on St.Patrick's day.
