One Glasgow game per month. Wow, the SRU really know how to sell their product to the masses! I can really see support for the Warriors peaking with that kind of blanket coverage. I mean along with the 5 seconds devoted to the rugby on the local news each week and the one taxi in Glasgow with a Warriors advert on it, it'll be hard to escape rugby in this part of the world!

I wonder who pays for the majority of the BBC/S4C coverage and can't get to see it?

Why can't you get to see it? It's all streamed live online and broadcast on satellite and cable

Must live in outer space or something. Explains a lot.
Not sure why he wants to watch it anyway. All he does is moan about it.

None of the TV broadcasts come through to my TV set Notch.
The on-line Celtic from S4C/Alba games come though in gibberish (except for most of the interviews).

What do you mean by gibberish? are the live picks moving too quick for your computer so the sound doesn't load properly? (that happens on mine with live streaming of games, the play on field when that speeds up my screen goes all funny and the sounds breaks up, that might be my rather not good laptop though )

Must you go out of your way to be offensive/get attention?
There are good arguments to be made for and against funding minority language TV stations and preserving minority/regional languages in general. 'Gibberish' is not one of them. Note this is not an invitation to indulge said arguments. This course of action carries a high risk of tedium on a rugby forum; there are other forums and blogs more suited to it.

Re: PRO 12 - TV Schedule
Notch - I wondered if that's what he meant by gibberish which is why I've asked him if it's for the reason I've given (or another one).
Portnoy - if my gibberish you meant what Notch has said then that is highly offensive, and I would ask that you amend your post.

Nice opening fixture, Ospreys V Leinster, what a nice way to start the season.

They always have the derby's before the HC it gives the big players a chance to sample some intensity before the tournement starts.

I know yeah, but from the looks of it we're playing Connacht while we usually warm up by playing Munster.

Perhaps they see a shift in power after Friday night's game.

Yeah, should have copped that. I saw Leinster v Ospreys first and had the same thought but our 3rd game was home to Glasgow this season and that's not listed above. Even the dates are the same the 2nd of Sept this year is a Sunday not a Friday.

Season always starts the first weekend of September doesn't it? Usually the friendlies start about second/third weekend of August. Also this unlike the summer of 2011, this summer there are proper summer tours, so there will be rugby going on properly over the summer.

Love that post. The way you said SOMEHOW seems to infer that it would be difficult to search the forum for Pro 12 tv schedule and add a post onto the end.

Just seems odd to bring backs a thread from september that is not about the final, rather than just start a new thread or ask it on a thread about the final.
