Re: Which Famous People Have You Met
Ricky Hatton sat next to me at a bar in Manchester.
A few of the Northampton Saints players have joined us on a night out before. A couple I see out all the time: Lawes and Diggers.
Can't think of any others I've spoken to.

Re: Which Famous People Have You Met
I've met Kerry Dixon twice, once at a Bedford Town vs Chelsea XI in 2005 and at the title parade in 2006. Nice guy to talk football with.
Also through football I met Ralf Little from Two Pints at a Bedford Town vs Arsenal Celebs & Legends game in 2006. 50th anniversary of Bedford getting a draw at Highbury in the FA Cup.
I met Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift backstage at the CMA Festival in Nashville in 2009. Set me back a lot but very worth it.

Re: Which Famous People Have You Met
I've seen a few well known people about, but actually MET:
The Manic Street Preachers (except Richey) - James Dean Bradfield I've met a few times around Cardiff. Just really down to earth, normal guys. Met them backstage at an invite only gig I went to. Chatted about music with JDB until my (then) boyfriend started on about football.
Ieuan Evans (Welsh rugby legend). Top bloke - said hello to him in the street after the Heineken Cup final this year in Cardiff.
Kelly Jones from The Stereophonics. Met him on the train to Aberdare on my daily commute from work. It was just after Performance & Cocktails came out. Seemed all right, pretty laid back really.
Tommy Bowe (Irish rugby international). Beautiful and lovely lovely lovely!!! Met him at Dublin airport, he was on my flight.

Some of them were pure luck. I met Doyler in a garage station one time. I would have been the only one who knew who he was at that time.

I literally bumped into Ruby Wax at a food store in Holland Park about 20 years ago. She looked kind of confused? so I boldly told her to "Cheer Up!".
Another day I was walking to work around the back streets behind Ken High St when I saw this large Granada Television van parked and a guy with a leaf blower doing the footpath. The were a couple of guys milling around. I suddenly realised it was Roger Moore and Michael Caine - lurking next to a tree. I said something to RM like "Nice day, isn't it?" He answered "Indeed, it is.." MC sort of half nodded in approval too.
They were filming a scene from "Bulleye". Saw it again only last week. It was the part where they visit the Gentlemans' Club.
Boy, can they keep a straight face!
(note: I was surprised Roger Moore wasn't taller... about 5'10"? He was a few inches smaller than me. Sort of shattered my image of him as 007.)

Re: Which Famous People Have You Met
My Nan took me to Butlins in London when I was about 14 and it was basically to spoil me for a few days.
She wanted to see a play called Mouse Trap, and when we watched it I saw Nicolas Courtney (the Brigader from doctor Who) in it, after the play my Nan took me round the side of the building to the stage door and sneaked in and I actually got to meet him, and he was very nice and signed an autograph, this is despite just being on stage for hours.
Fantastic bloke and a memory I treasure, he died recently as well which was gutting.

The mouse trap was the longest ever West End show and I believe was what led to:
- Spoiler:
- the phrase the Butler did it
I think Courtney died a few months ago. That would have been a cool person to meet.

met John Donnelly from the Saw Doctors(now left), was a good mate of my cousin, who used to be an actor himself.
Asked David Gower for his autograph, just after he was out playing for Hants, told me to f off.
I'm envious of my brother, whose met God himself a few times(that's Paul McGrath for those not in the know), also a few Villa players of the past in bars in Dublin.

What was he like?
Rio Ferdinand played football for about half n hour with my son a few months back.
Wayne Rooney lives next door to my mother in laws work and after his son's first birthday party Colleen came round with half of the birthday cake which I still have the decorations to.
I once told Gianfranco Zola and Faustino Asprilla they looked like a pair of d***ks when wearing matching shell suits in the middle of Amsterdam.
Sir Jimmy Saville has stood in my urine.
John Cleese once told me to p**s off.
I've slept in the same bed as EuroPop star Lolly (though nothing happened)
I've shared noodles with Paul Heaton from the Beautiful South
I'm mates with Marshall Lancaster who played Chris Skelton in Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes.
I've snogged the woman who was the singer/dancer on the song 9pm till I come by ATB
