That was good. Amazing the 24 year-Alice/ Ellis similarity- almost as though it was made for this.

I like that song it has a brief history of how the Abs lost every time the RWC came around, or should i say it as every excuse why the Abs have not won it 24 years.

New Zealanders and a sense of Humour ?? I thought those 2 things were mutually incompatable.
Mind you they must be in stitches when they see what their team gets away with year in and year out. Its enough to make you want to spit.

You obviously do not have anything good to say about New Zealand, do you?
We must have you and Greyghost have a thread all to yourselves, he can take the English on and you can take New Zealand on.

Great song. Webb Ellis has been an elusive character to the world's best.

We have the Boks welcome, Maori canoes and all down the Wellington Waterfront today Biltong. Yesterday we had the Welsh out at Porirua.
Good to see the teams being honoured in this way. They all seem to be settling in nicely- the Welsh are off around Wellington and about today- golfing, fishing etc. The place is filling up nicely.

I know the World cup doesn't officially start until friday night, but Auckland is already into it,especially the Polynesian communities, the number of vehicles driving around getting into each others faces with samoan and Tongan flags, tells everyone that ABs arent the only "home' team...

Well that is good news for most of us, it means the all Blacks won't get all the home support (hopefully)

I wasn't going to go to the Opening game, but the missus wanted to go and see the dancing and ceremony etc , but I'm somewhat pleased now as these tongans are going to throw everything at the ABs, with a lot of crowd support. Bring it on.
