Torres buy out clause
Just heard on Talk Sport radio that apparently, Torres has a £50m buy out clause.
In other words, if Chelsea (as is rumoured) make a £50m bid for him, Liverpool can not say no - only Fernando himself can.
Is he worth £50M?
Personally, although over valued, I think he would score a bagful at Chelsea.

Re: Torres buy out clause
I find it quite odd that there's a buy out clause in his contract, and that it's only just come to light. In recent years, any time there's been a rumour that so & so has made a bid for Torres there's been no mention of a buy out clause, even when bids of £50 or £60 million have been quoted.
Anyway, naff off Chelsea, Nando's going nowhere!

I heard on the rumour mill, that when he found out that Chelski came in for him he asked the powers that be at Liverpool could he talk with them :suspect:
