What for Pocock then? Would include Dowson as the replacement.. obviously quite a step down but I'd hope I could make up for it with the likes of

Mujati, Albacete, Lawes, Ashton, Medard?

Pocock + So'oialo
=
Ashton + Dowson

enquiry for now. Would complete your backline.

Would say Weepu/Evans is pretty sweet too!

I couldn't add much. See them as pretty equal.

On the other wide, Genia > Weepu but could do a swap there if you added something.

What 'sweetner' would you be after?

Alba/Matfield
Day/Thrush
Smith/Kaino
Dowson/Rodders
Ashton/Gear
Medard/Jane

There isn't a £10 mil gap between the two. I bought Evans for £26 mil, Cooper cost £28 mil.

You might say that the impact of Genia/Cooper inflates the price, but that shouldn't make a difference as you should look at the deal in isolation - ie Evans and Cooper, and any other players that may be involved in the deal.

Evans has been instrumental in 13 straight wins for Quins. Cooper had a bad WC and is now injured.

The price would have to come down, or we could look at a Weepu/Genia swap.

I still stand by what I said re Cooper/Evans, so wouldn't be too keen on adding cash. I was hoping to raise £8-£10 mil to get a player in!

Surely if there are two losses each there are two gains and a fair even middle swap?

I was only trying to give you a decent second row for Cooper.

I will implement the rule after this weeks games, ie. for the next set of injuries.

Yeah, it's the centre's I'm after. Will also have a nice little NZ theme going on.

Please note a new rule that has been introduced:

When you transfer injured players their injury becomes void and they are available to play for the acquiring side. You can transfer a maximum of 2 injured players per set.

Don't understand why Mermoz/Fourie isn't a great partnership - both top 5 in the world in their positions. Too one dimensional maybe?

Have a look at what I said to Fluxy.

Basically, I'd want to improve at 3/7 to lose Parra. Jane makes up for that, but no need for me to do the half back swaps as Evans isn't exactly a weakness.
