Re: Bolton Wanderers- furious league
Tactics wise I'd have a look at what people have done before, basically instruct each player on what they're meant to do in the game, sort out what formation you want, who takes set pieces, what subs you'll do and how you'll change the team depending on if you're winning or losing.
Buying players wise you can put offers in on other peoples teams and then it's up to them if they accept.
If it's just an enquiry add ENQ to it.
If you want to buy a player that's not in the league then you have to add it to the Transfer Pending page but that's only open Monday to Wednesday.

Re: Bolton Wanderers- furious league
nice to see the team has a new manager ill give you a few pointers, the best advice i can give you is this; you are going to get alot of offers in the first few days, reject them all to give yourself a few days to get used to the ratings in the leagues, as every other manager is gonna try to go for your best players on the cheap, like the offer above, and when you enquire about their players they are going to talk them up and overvalue them to make it seem like they match up to your best players, and when your a new manager, thats just a load of crap 99% of the time
the valuations i put shouldnt be taken as gospel, they are what i would consider to be realistic valuations for the player if they were to transfer in real life, on this league, they have much much higher values so you might aswell just get rid of them.
The following players are considered to be amongst the best in their position in the league, so should not be sold for crap offers like 1 inferior player and 2 players that wouldnt come close to your team
Reina (best keeper in the league by a fair way)
Freidel (also a top keeper who shouldnt be let go on the cheap just because of his age)
Enrique (best defensive LB in the league, and in the top 3 or 4 overall)
Lucas (up there in terms of best DM's in the top 4 or 5)
Aguero (best striker in the league, and quite possibly the best player in the league overall)
ill still be around until monday as im sorting out the domestic cup as my last bit of action, and ill still be around on other parts of the forum, so if you need any advice regarding transfer offers or anything else about the league, pm me and ill be happy to help

Re: Bolton Wanderers- furious league
Tranq, my offer isn't a bad one, the top scorer in the french league, a creative attacking midfielder that arsenal are keen on and a defensive midfielder that is linked with Barca + 8m.
Re: Bolton Wanderers- furious league
CF will probably want to make his team his own, he doesn't have much in the way of funds so the most probable way to do it would be to sell its best player, regroup with several decent players and work upwards, one player does not make a team.
Re: Bolton Wanderers- furious league
Morning CF. Welcome to the league.
I won't make you any offers, but I am interested in the following:
Reina
van Bommel
Lucas
Aguero
I am Fulham and would be willing to look at cash or part-exchange, so take a look and if you can see any possible deals, let me know.

OK.
I am short on CB's, so I am not going to sell him unless it's in a deal involving Aguero.
Sorry

Re: Bolton Wanderers- furious league
Okay. Here is a massive offer which includes Shawcross + a replacement striker.
Shawcross (£11m) + Gilardinho (£14m) + £13m = Aguero
The £11m for Shawcross is an offer I have for him already and Gilardinho £14m is his market value http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/alberto-gilardino/profil/spieler_5878.html
So that's a £38m offer

Re: Bolton Wanderers- furious league
Negredo is the only real striker I have at my club, it would take £25m for me to let him go I would do a part exchange, I'm intrested in Aguero and Lucas.
Re: Bolton Wanderers- furious league
I agree with Viva. You do need to make sure you don't sell your players too cheapily.
I don't think either of mine or Nick's offer is cheapily though. In my case, two players who would be straight in your first team and cash to build further.
But it might not be a bad thing to not do any transfers at all until you are settled and get a feel for who is rated and who is not (managers vote on results, so other managers opinions is very important

Re: Bolton Wanderers- furious league
If you are contemplating selling Aguero what I'd do CF is to get everyone to put forward their best & final offer with a cut off time.
Mine would be Willian, Costa & Wickham + 8m, both Willian and Costa have been rumoured to be going to huge clubs over the summer and I've already had a £20m offer for Costa in the past week.

i dont wanna sell aguero, let me sort out my team, and where i need to strengethn, then i will start accepting or rejecting bids

Re: Bolton Wanderers- furious league
I think that is probably a sensible approach CF.
Aguero is definately the highest rated forward on here.
To the potential detriment of my chances of getting him, if I was you I would be keeping hold of him unless someone offered me a deal worth £60m-£70m+

Re: Bolton Wanderers- furious league
Going to post you a few things on how the league work.
I'll start with ways to bring players in or out:
Domestic Transfers - you can buy and sell players with other managers in the league to your hearts content. Just ensure that when you agree a deal, one of the two managers confirmed the transfer on Transfer Confirmation
Transfer Pending - this is where you can buy players who are outside of the league. They are only open Monday to Wednesday each week, although occasionally there are exceptions to this windo which is down to Nick's discretion. The TPs are very strict and whether you bring in a player is down to how realistic it is judged to be. Normal criteria on whether it is realistic relates to your clubs position in the league and their European status (top 2 = Champions League, 3rd/4th/cup winners = Europa League), the players current clubs status and the league they are in. You can include part exchange, but we are very strict on this. We will only allow you to use a player for part ex if you can provide credible evidence (Sky, BBC those kind of sites) that the other club has been interested in that player IRL. For full details on enquiring, negotiating etc see the TP page. Again, TP transfers must be confirmed on Transfer Confirmation.
Lawyers - these are offers for players in your squad from outside of the league. You will get 2 of these each week, which Viva will generate. They are usually posted on a Monday and you have until the end of Thursday to accept. This week, the previous Bolton manager rejected one offer, but there is still one that you can accept for Payet if you wish. If you want to accept, you have until the end of the day. https://www.606v2.com/t6984p100-furious-league-lawyers
All lawyers sales must be confirmed on the Transfer Confirmation page
Note that once a player leaves the league, he cannot be bought back into the league by any manager until a full Furious League season has been completed. At the moment, only players who left in season 1 or season 2 can be bought back. There is a list of players who have left here: https://www.606v2.com/t12100-list-of-players-bought-from-lawyers. If you wish to buy one of these players, this is done as one of your TP enquiries.
Releases - if you want to get rid of a player, but have no buyers, you can release them. When you release a player, you will get half of either 1) what your team paid for him, or 2) if they were not bought, half his market value). You can sign players from the releases list for the value that they were released for. Simply state on the releases page that you wish to do so, and then confirm on the Transfer Confirmation page
in all these cases, the links can be found on the Main League Homepage

your deffo taking the mick now
sow isnt rated on here, the team already has 4 am's, 2 of which are definately rated higher than jadson, and capoue would be 4th choice cm/dm
ill just say, im desperate for you to not have you best players essentially stolen be the established managers in the league who want to get your player cheaply before you realise his value, none of the offers for aguero are good enough
Hero wrote:one player does not make a team.
and this team certainly isnt a one man team, it won 2 of its last 3 games last year, and that was without the addition of lucas, who certainly improved the midfield, stop talking the team down so you can try and get aguero on the cheap, if smarts was still here, id have expected that from him, but not from you

Re: Bolton Wanderers- furious league
Sow isn't rated on here? There's only 3 of the old team left in Viva, Afro and Nick so who's to judge what the others now think. And Viva's just tried to buy Sow off me!
Jadson's value will rocket if the Arsenal signing comes off at some point and Capoue as shown is potentially a £15m target for Barca who don't tend to buy bad players!
My offer wasn't the best on the table sure and I have since improved it but isn't it down to CF on who he wants to deal with? I didn't see you leaping up and down to assist Liam when Hazard and Vidal were going.
He has stated he wants to keep hold of Aguero, I hope he actually does as if he ends up at Everton or one of the top clubs it'll be even more of a struggle for clubs like mine to play catch up.

I don't want sound mean but we would appreciate it if you didn't comment on these deals Tranq. I know you feel you still have an attachment to the club because it is moulded into your style of play but it's not fair on Hero or others if you are intervening in the deals when you ain't part of the league.
I hope you understand what I mean mate, I just want us to carry on this league without fuss we've had major problems recently and it looked like the wheels were going to fall off and we don't need any outside influence.
