Nah i hate Ale. I dont really drink Lager either unless it has Blackcurrant in, used to turn my stomach and not a great fan of the taste. Spirits are my thing, Vodka, Goldschlager, Fireball Whiskey, Morgan Spiced, Sambuca, Aftershock

Goldschlager and Fireball Whiskey taste the same i think, been a while since ive had Goldschlager (got gold leaf bits in it). Even had Fireball Jawbreakers when you were a kid? Well its that in a drink format. Goldschlager as a shot, Whiskey mixed with Apple Juice or Lemonade.

Morgan Spiced taste likes Cream Soda when you mix it with Lemonade.

Jagerbombs are another of my favourites.

Smarts - it's not acceptable in Newcastle, but probably expected from them soft southern Makems.

You got to be flexible. Bitter or Guiness for a quiet drink, lager for a session, spirits when you have drunk too much beer/guiness/lager and there is no room for any large volume.
