You know that was a much better offer than the ones you're trying to murk on people, all three of my guys are quality so it depends on how much you want a top class striker like I was offering, you said you wanted strength up front and a winger and you're a huge fan of Hernanes, seems you've got CF blindness on De Rossi

It's not going to happen because Modric is more valuable than De Rossi in this league and possibly real life too.

A player like De Rossi is more achievable from the foreigns than a player like Modric. It would more likely be De Rossi + ? = Modric

Vidal has been the best box to box midfielder in Germany for the last couple of years, outperforming even Schweinsteiger and I know how highly you rate Schwein. My honest opinion is that Vidal = De Rossi IRL, but in this league that is not going to be the case, so De Rossi carries a little more value

Falcao is top class and you know it, 15 goals in europe last year show that.

Falcao = De Rossi (if de rossi ahead then only marginally)
Hernanes > Marin
Gaitan > Lamela (lamela in future will be quality no question, but he's not getting games)

De Rossi is one of the best midfielders, but then Falcao is one of the best strikers.

I'd disagree on Lamela at present being better than Gaitan, I'd say I'm a couple of years time no question but he's not even getting games at the moment.

Lamela was injured and they have introduced him slowly.

But he is just a better player than Gaitan. Did you see his Roma debut.

Yes Gaitan is good and has had a good start to the season (on the right though, whereas you are playing him on the left), but Lamela is exceptional.

If given the choice, I would choose Lamela every time.

And Viva, what I mean on Modric is that value wise he is on a par with De Rossi, but how many top class midfielders that play the Modric type role can you name? Xavi, Fabregas, Alonso, Montolivo, Pirlo

I can't think of many more really good ones.

Gaitan has only recently been linked to Man Utd, but then so have loads of players. Lamela was linked to Chelsea and Arsenal over the summer. I would have said Lamela is more high profile than Gaitan tbh

Not so much worried about overall value (although it will probably be similar).

More interested in Falcao v De Rossi, Hernanes v Marin, Gaitan v Lamela, Modric v De Rossi. See what their take on it is. Might have a look myself.

That is market value though Viva. Why would a club sell a first team player for cash for market value? It is going to cost them the same to replace them.

If Bremen had spent £12.5m on the replacement for Marin, the replacement is not going to be as good as Marin

An Hero you don't think outside the box. It's not about what TM values a player at. You have to look at the availability of those types of players, is a player is worth more to a club then the other, do you need another attacking player when you have 4 already. So it's not a fair deal, you made the deal to impress me but it didn't work. You need to impress harder if you want my players.

Do you mean IRL Viva?

If so, I wouldn't expect it to be anywhere near as high as £40m. He was linked to Man City and Man Utd over the summer and they were quoting prices around £20m. A lot of that price is because his contract is runnign down, but if he had a few years left on his contract, I think £25m-£30m would be about right
