Erra feck Cork will be out at the semis in both Hurling and Football furious
Another season gone down the pipes before its started, tis rigged!! Rolling Eyes

Some great matchs there though, in the football, Tyrone-Armagh, Tip-Kerry and most likely Kerry-Cork
London could get far this year and a Meath-Kildare semi-final would be a cracker.

In Hurling, welll... A Tipp-Waterford final in Munster again but Dublin-Kilkenny semi in Leinster will be a great match. Galway will get to the final too which is good.

Cant see past a Tipp-Kilkenny final though...Again... Rolling Eyes

If Cork can bring through a few of that u21 team they had last year I think they will a lot better that Aidan Walsh guy should play hurling for the Cork seniors next year. He is ok at football but a superb hurler.

Sorry Reb, he is more than ok at football, but a much better hurler. That's what I was trying to say. We have a few too, David Henry is an absolute beast of a hurler but he for some reason he chose football.

I agree. I'm not one of the "burst all the footballs in the county" brigade but when and if a decision has to be made, I'd hope for small ball every time

Cari original post is slightl wrong in that should Down beat Fermanagh they have the winners of Monaghan or Antrim in the Ulster semi. On paper it looks like a fairly straight forward route to an Ulster final but being Down nothing is ever straight forward.

Happy with this, Antrim avoid the Preliminary Round, and get Monaghan, suspect we'll be then put out by Down (again)

Hurling we have a clear path to the Leinster final, just beat Westmeath (doable) then Galway (not doable), and then the winner of Offaly/Wexford (doable), then we get to play the mighty Cats (not doable) or maybe the Dubs (doable).

With a but of luck could walk away with a Leinster title this year (not likley) and an Ulster title (cert) with would could as a semi all Ireland.

Why are Kilkenny straight through to the simi-final? That means that they only have 3 games to All-Ireland final, whereas Tipp have to play a quater for the 5th time in a row. Snot fair.

I see that the committee set up to appoint a replacement for Frank Murphy for secretary of the Cork County Board to have come up with a nominee..............guess who...... Frank Murphy. Jeeze, you couldn't make it up.
