Divided loyalties here. I love the AB's but feel inclined to support the underdog.
I hope the pumas can make a real contest out of this but I can't see it.

I cant see Argentina keeping this up for the match, especially given their age.

All blacks will pull away in the second half no doubt, but it's been good by the pumas so far...

ah he hurt his leg about 20mins ago I think they were seeing if he could run it off but he tweaked something again when he kicked the ball so off he came.

Could be another injury blow for NZ
Would they trust Cruden in a semi final? Or would Weepu start at 10?

Re: Quarter final four; NZ vz Argentina
Just Weepu holding us in it at the moment.
Argentina are doing their best to keep the pace out of the game, and unfortunately we just can't seem to up to the tempo.
NZ look dangerous on attack, but no cutting edge just yet.
Looked like Read was anxious about Slade outside him when Argentina slipped in on his inside for the break that made the try. Thought there was a forward pass in there (any SA's agree? ) but let's not go there.
We can't be at home to Mr man sausage up in the second half.

Re: Quarter final four; NZ vz Argentina
Argentina are making a game of this and are to be congratulated. They are managing to slow down the ball and are very well set defensively. Apart from a few nice wrap around moves it´s been too predictable from the AB backline. That comes from having the Argentinians coming up quick in the line. The forwards need to hit those rucks and get that ball recycled quickly.
Thankfully Weepu is having a great day with the boot. If we´d been relying on Slade I think we´d been well behind. He´s having a good game. It´ll be interesting if Ted gives the boys a rark up at half time and Argentina tire in the second half after all this tackling.
Tense game and just what we need though. kia kaha

Can't understand why the AB's aren't keeping it tighter and driving up the middle more?

Argentina are sucking the ABs into their own game. We need to up the pace and move these big guys around. We´re getting caught up in a close-pitched battle at the moment.

Kaino going down scares me!!
That was better from the ABs. Much more dynamic. Time for Owen to warn Argentinians I think for hands in the rucks.

Re: Quarter final four; NZ vz Argentina
Nonu makes a good bust but wrong option there. It went back to a slow mo type of play where Weepu thought a penalty was coming. We needed quick ball as we had the on the ropes.
Gaps might start opening up now. Argentina are holding on heroically.

Great defence from the Pumas. The AB's are making a lot of linebreaks though, especially SBW and Nonu.
