Foreign Transfers Empty Foreign Transfers

Post by Guest Tue 11 Oct 2011, 5:20 pm

Foreign transfers will open during the following weeks:

Weeks 1 & 2 - Open
Week 3 - Closed
Week 4 - Open
Week 5 - Closed
Week 6 - Open
Week 7 - Closed
Weeks 8 & 9 - Open
Week 10 - Closed
Week 11 - Open
Week 12 - Closed

It is possible to purchase foreign wrestlers for your roster. This INCLUDES all Legends.
A maximum of 2 bids per day is permitted.
The WWA board of directors will assess the bids made and make a decision.
The responses will be:
Yes
Negotiate (more money needed)
No

If the response is no, this will be down to whoever is on your roster and whether they will actually work with your current wrestlers. So choose wisely.
If 2 or more rosters are bidding for the same Legend on the same day, the first person bidding first will get preference if they match or increase their bid depending on other bids.
You can edit an existing bid as many times as required during a day. Rather than edit an existing post, please repost your revised bid.
Cut off time for bids is 4.30pm on that day.
However, if there are any bids for a wrestler between 3.30pm and 4.30pm that have already been bid for, the transfer window for that wrestler will be extended until 5.30pm to give the first bidder a chance to re-bid. Responses should be up by 6pm on the same day.
The responses will expire at midnight on that day. If you fail to negotiate or confirm, the wrestler is available again to be bid for the next day.

Please submit bids in the following format:

Association Name:
Wrestler:
Bid:
Reason:

Any chance of a list of Legends being published sooner rather than later so if a roster is to be built around a certain legend it can be planned better?

Also, if you are bidding for a foreign talent and their manager (i.e. Lesnar and Heyman) does that count as one or two?

Association: YIMCA
Bid 1/2
Wrestler: Goldberg
Bid: £30m
Reason:
In the YIMCA Goldberg will be free to go on a path of rampage and destruction. As a major heel he will be used in our main storyline leading to our PPV. We have a ground breaking storyline involving Goldberg after the PPV with the top stars in our roster. He is guaranteed main event status and with the roster we have he will fit in perfectly with our plans.

Association: YIMCA
Bid 2/2
Wrestler: Eddie Guerrero
Bid: £25m
Reason:
With Eddie Edwards and Daniel Bryan, Eddie Guerrero is a perfect match. His style complements our roster and the matches we have lined up will be epic. As a heel 'latino heat' can do what he feels is necessary to win his matches. As a sly devious character with great in ring skills he would be a massive addition to our roster which is full of talent to work with.

Association: Heroes of Wrestling
TP 2
Name: Desmond Wolfe
Offer: £15m

Reason: Like above Wolfe has had huge history with several of my roster and he's natural suited to the style I wish to sell, I can offer him a high place on the roster in an exciting feud.

On behalf of Aberdeen Steve, who cant get on v2 until tomorrow night:

Association: AWA
Wrestler: Paul London
Bid: £10M
Reason: He will instantly be teamed with Kendrick and be a massive part of my tag team division.

Association: AWA
Wrestler: Kevin Steen
Bid: £15million
Reason: He would join my fed and be instantly amongst several guys who are on a similar level with him when it comes to mat based wrestling. He could have potential feuds with Jack Swagger, Samoa Joe and Seth Rollins.

Association: LWWF
Wrestler: Matt Hardy
Bid: £20 million
Reason: I want him to add some versality to my main event, as he can play both face and heel. I also want to try and complete some big plans involving him and MCMG.

Association: LWWF
Wrestler: Mick Foley
Bid: £15 million
Reason: LWWF needs a man to guide them through choppy waters, and who better than the man who's been there and done it all...Mick Foley! I also wouldn't be surprised if he ended up in the ring at some point.

Association: TPWF
Wrestler:Stone Cold Steve Austin
Bid:45m
Reason: stone cold will be offered the chance to be back in the main event picture and all so will be working with young talents , not only that TPWF will be signing new up coming stars and legends to offer the best roster in the near future , Austin will all so get the chance to face the man he wants to and has said he would if he ever returned to in ring action. Punk and Austin have all so been going at it back and forth on twitter and all so it is know to be the dream match everyone wants to see "Drinker + hell raiser v Straight Edge. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/wrestling/3836427/Steve-Austin-Id-pick-CM-Punk-for-my-final-match.html evidence of Stone Cold saying he would pick Cm Punk for his final match

1) Brock Lesnar
£30million
nXtreme

Although not the highest bid we wish to give Brock a different reason. At nXtreme he will be the top face much like Kurt he was on the original re-launch of ECW. He will be used to solidify the main event and put over the younger talent. We will also be forming team Lesnar with Haas and Benjamin as the main face team in the roster

2) Joey Mercury
£2.5 million
NXtreme

We wish to reform MNM and joey would love to restart his career. He will be part of our plans moving forward.

Association-MWF
Wrestler-William Regal
Bid- 27mil
Reason-Majorly underused at present only doing commentary and being in matches where numbers need making up eg the 41 man battle royal on smackdown last week. He also has history with danny collins from just before he left for america in the mid 90's so he could end the feud here. There are also some younger british guys like stone and williams who are well adverse in wrestling the old british style which could appeal to him

Association: Devon Championship Wrestling
Wrestler: Kevin Nash
Bid: 25 Million
Reason: As a mutli-time World Champion and very knowledgable guy in the business, Kevin Nash would be an invaluable member of our federation, as well as this Mr. Nash would have the oppurtunity of working with some top new wrestlers, as well as some of his old adversaries.

Association: Devon Championship Wrestling
Wrestler: Scott Hall
Bid: 25 Million
Reason: Scott Hall like Kevin Nash is a very experienced guy and would help push the federation that much higher up the pecking order. Also as one of the most respected men not to win a World Championship, he would have the chance of pushing his career even further in this company.

Wrestler: Chris Jericho
Bid: £25m
Reason: TPWF will offer him an chance to main event once again and offer the chance of him to help improve youngsters , will all so offer him the chance to feud with possible stars and legends that the TPWF are after. TPWF are all so willing to let him bring back his 'SAVE US' gimmick

you do know my 1st TP is all ready up? here it is again just in case

Association: TPWF

Association Name: UCW
Wrestler: Raven
Bid: 9 Million
Reason: Maybe a bit of a wild card choice, But I wanted to keep this roster as if it was now, and my talant are all younger wrestlers with bright futures ahead of them. There's not many Veteran's in my roster so they could do with the expierence and the knowlegde of somebody who's been apart of the biggest promotions. Raven will act as Commissioner and will be able to book matches. He will also be involved in storylines and may end up in the ring at some point. He works well as a face & a heel so there are endless options here.

Association Name: UCW
Wrestler: Edge
Bid: 26 Million
Reason: Egde, has a coloured history with half of my roster, He was a tag team champion with Christian, which I have, so they could be used to re-ignite my tag team Division, He also has had history with Jeff Hardy, again somebody who he can work well with. There are 2 sides to this bid, and the other is the Wrestlers he's not had the chance to face against. Guys like Roderick Strong & Kenny King are up and coming talent and held championships in the independents. So there's the chance to work with old freinds, and also the chance to face ROH guys which you would never get to see in real life.

WWA Board of Directors Transfer Responses

OVW

Dean Malenko: Negotiate on price

Umaga: Negotiate, where would he fit compared to other potential heels

YIMCA

Goldberg: No - Doesnt fit with current roster and has no previous history with them
Eddie Guerrero: Negotiate on price

Heroes of Wrestling

Kurt Angle: Yes

Desmond Wolfe: Yes

6WE

Zach Gowan: Negotiate on price

Roddy Piper: No as value way off.

AWA

Paul London: Negotiate on price

Kevin Steen: Negotiate on price

PWR

Shawn Michaels: No, not interested in a feud with current roster and very undervalued offer
Kurt Angle: No, again roster does not interest him

LWWF

Matt Hardy: No, wants to go to a fed that has Jeff, Shannon Moore or Gregory Helms. Would reconsider if you acquired one.
Mick Foley: No, far too undervalued offer and no direction.

TPWF

Steve Austin: No, Interested in feud but not willing to go to federation with so few stars, would reconsider if bought others first.
Chris Jericho - Negotiate on price and also Jericho is not one to want to return to an old gimmick but expects TPWF to come up with something new and original

nXtreme

Brock Lesnar: Negotiate, interested in reuniting with Team Lesnar but at higher price and added stip that you buy Paul Heyman tomorrow or deal is off.

Joey Mercury: Negotiate on price

Association-MWF

William Regal - Yes

Devon Championship Wrestling

Kevin Nash - Yes
Scott Hall- Yes

UCW

Raven - No. Raven is a hardcore legend and would only consider a return to the ring in that capacity, not as a Commissioner.
Edge- Negotiate on price
