I'm a New York Giants fan been following them since 1984

Fan since '83 and never wavered, despite the SB drought.

Only been watching NFL for about one and a half seasons so I'm not fully committed to a team just yet but I think I'll be supporting the Browns.

Finally made it over from the old site, though have had to change my name (used to be Sabre Wulf)

Pats fan for over 20 years.

Started watching the NFL back in 1985. The year the Bears humped the Patriots. It was the first season televised in Ireland, so all of a sudden after the first year everyone was a Bears fan.

Being the non-conformist that I am I had other plans. Throughout the season I watched many games and highlights and one player stood out every week. I knew next to nothing about the game, the positions and what was expected of the players but Dan Marino was incredible to watch every week. I knew I was looking at a legend.

Dolphins for me ever since.

Oh, and Don Shula and I have the same birthday.

Cardinal Tom is doing the mock draft for the Cards -- so that should up Cards fans to 2

Giants fan since the Super Bowl 42 pre game show. Used to be on 606 with the same name and decided to come back and saw everyone hot footed it over here.

I'm liking Akeem Ayers and Mark Ingram, but I heard Pouncey might be passed on by others and might be available for our first pick and I'd snap him up if he is.

Growing up a Chelsea fan and obviously England I know all about my teams blowing great starts

Especially this season, back in October Chelsea and NYG were both leading their leagues and both had a December capitulation, talk about a blue Christmas.

I'd go O-line as well even though it's not an 'exciting' pick but the best teams are those that control the line of scrimmage so we have to go with the big uglies. That being the case I would go with (in order of availability of course)- Solder, Pouncy, T.Smith, Castonzo.

For LB's, well Miller will be gone but he's looks to be the next 'great one'. I would go with Ayers too but if we go O-line in the first round then I would take Mason Foster if he's available at pick 38. If not, I also like that fella from Illinois whose name escapes at the moment. He has some injury issues though.

The Jets have been my team for a few years. I only really got into watching the NFL last year though. Quite like the Browns and Lions aswell.

We do have one Saints fan, Tigerrobins but I don't recognise the name so I'm assuming they don't post regularly on the American Football forum.

Saints fans only started cropping up regularly last year anyway

We had plenty of Ravens on 606, perhaps they all flocked to OOH

I vaguely remember Ravens fans being up in arms over my power rankings

I still remember watching some games of the great Barry Sanders. He was the most exciting RB I ever seen.

Heh, just been looking on the old site which had a similar thread done when the Pats were riding high. That showed 7 Pat's fans and 3 Packers fans.

Yes, and suddenly there's very little Saints to be found anywhere.

been a Packers fan since the 80s. They just seemed less glitzy than the other teams and I kind of liked that. And how can you not like a team whose fans wear big foam cheese slices on their heads?

Moved to Boston from the UK four years ago, but there was no way I was switching my alleigance to the Pats, so I come in for plenty of teasing from my pals at work. But they do know how to throw a good Superbowl party.

I've been to Patriot Place to watch the Pats, and I go and watch the Boston College Eagles, but I'm hoping to get to Lambeau this year (if there isn't a lockout obviously).

And what's with the saint's knocking, having been a fan since the late 80's,
when we won the superbowl, i saw and read alot of goodwill to the team but
mainly the city, but not that alot of people were suddenly saints fans.

I'm not knocking the Saints, but last year on 606 we had about 5 Saints fans and I haven't seen them anywhere else since we all moved.

Exactly. If you guys have mates who are into the NFL or college football, try and get them on here. We've got a good core of posters now and it would be great if we could expand further.

I agree, I pretty much know noone who is even slightly interested in American Football most people I know have the usual "They're wusses for wearing pads" sort of view. So I enjoy having people to talk to about the sport, and at the same time I learn bits from the conversations or reading others comments, only thing is it may become bad for the board if it becomes too heavily biased towards one team.

That's actually quite hard, as without injuries etc i don't think that we where that far
from being a good side, Probably either lines, or saftey would have been my choice,
but don't now many collage players that is why i didn't join.

Plus apparently they are looking to build a new stadium (lets face it the superdome
has seen better day's), so it's dependent on money for that, as well.

Happens every year, I suppose some could call me a bandwagoner of sorts. I didn't start supporting the Giants until about 30 minutes before Super Bowl 42 kicked off, all the build up was about New England doing the perfect season and I wanted to see them get beat. So in effect I jumped on the NFC Champion bandwagon.

As a Saints fan for 20 odd years, winning the superbowl actually
ment something to me, because of what id had to put up with in
the preceding years.

Titans fan here, although I've followed the team since the mid '80s in Houston. Glad to have found an excellent replacement for 606!

I just can't wait until the Bills start getting some bandwagon jumpers. Might mean we've ended the playoff streak.

probably should have joined this article earlier but im unsuprisingly a cardinals fan. with the talk of new recruitment i noticed a similar article to this one on the not 606 page (where most of my fellow newcastle fans have moved to).
