Under Armour obviously think they can make money out of golf, so whats the odds on them brining out some irons next. I know Bridgestone have done it but who's brand did they take over because surley they haven't just gone out and started forging clubs?

Bridgestone have been around for ages. They made irons for Jumbo Ozaki back in the day as I recall.
Hence the J prefix on their tour grade irons.

:suspect: Possibly the most laughable thing I've seen in a bit. Utter tosh. That said, never underestimate the power of your brain. If these people think it'll help, it may well do so...at least for a bit.
Oh, one other thing. I wonder how many of the quoted users of this bit of stupidity got paid for it by UA.

Bridgestone have made some classic blades, my brother still has a set of Bridgestone Rextar blades he had in the mid/late 90's fantastic looking club.
I think it's just because they are not as mainstream as Nike, Mizuno et al they go a little under the radar though with Kuchar having such a good year last year their profile rose a little

Re: The next Big Thing In Golf
I saw the interview with Davies Love last night as he had just changed to Bridgestone and had his new white driver on show. Makes you wonder sometimes though about the power of marketing., plenty people wearing the new wrist thing thats supposed to add power? yes I know some pro's are wearing them but thats for cash as i've never seen them come out and say it knocks shots of their game or increased their distance. fashion accesosry item only me thinks, but this gumsheild is a joke but I bet some will fall for it and I'll pee my pants if I see them at our club
