Men(Saints) v Boys(Ospreys)
Now i'm an Ospreys fan before you think this is an anti O's thread but you'll understand the title when you see the teams for the game tomorrow;

Fear this could be the end of our campain in the Low Value Cup for another year. We'd need to play really well to beat a very strong looking saints team. Are the Saints taking this game really seriously or just blending their internationals back into the team? Bit of a David v Goliath isn't it? Mind you we all know who won that one! Best of luck O's!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like Saints are taking the LV= very seriously, not playing any of their academy players, unlike the Ospreys who are putting out a very inexperienced side

Re: Men(Saints) v Boys(Ospreys)
Anyone think the Ospreys might not be taking this seriously? Will be very good experience for their young guns though. Reckon this is just a run out for the world cup players. Doubt Mallinder will be looking too seriously at this.

I'll be there cheering the O's on but that Saints side looks pretty tasty.
Let's hope for a shock result. I think the Ospreys were better than the score suggested last week so you never know....

I must admit I thought the Spirit of the LV=, especially the early rounds was to try out as many young prospects as possible.

Re: Men(Saints) v Boys(Ospreys)
I'm just waiting to be picked up by my friends so we can go to Bridgend and se it.
I think were going to get creamed though to be honest. I'm looking forward to seeing Vasily ARTEMYEV for Northampton. But i just cant see how the ospreys will get any ball. Putting Smith at lock is a stupid move, Though having Ian Evans back should add a bit of bite back, but if he gets angry and frustrated which tends to happen when we get put under pressure then we may end up getting a yellow.

I imagine there will be quite a few cards being shown...!
Their front five should take ours to the cleaners
Have a great time...! Lets hope the nippers can do some ankle biting and create an upset..
Prydie vs Artymev and Walker vs Ashton could be interesting...

Ashton his usual surly self kicking an osprey line out ball away unnecessarily.
That aside this Osprey youth team with a mix of academy, third and the odd second choice players is competing very well at the moment.
Just gone ten minutes but the Ospreys look composed, intelligent, patient and skilled.

Wonderful steal at the line out by Tom Smith. Right on the Saints line. Laws lays over the ball and concedes the penalty

I've been really impressed with the youngsters at the Ospreys at the start of the season. Playing good no fear running rugby.

Been impressed with Morgan's kicking, it's been pinpoint. The lad seems like a really classy player.
Edit: He's put in a high tackle on someone... Is that even possible.

Lovely turnover there...! Penalties to the Ospreys...!
Great work by the young Osprey openside Sam Lewis.
This Academy back row are doing very well against a Saint First choice including England Hero Tom Wood.

I thought the ball had to leave your hands with a quick tap? either way, its another yellow card, and the ospreys discipline hasnt been great.

Re: Men(Saints) v Boys(Ospreys)
I didnt think it would be, rather inconsistent by the ref when the saints have been throwing ospreys line out balls scrum balls and penalty balls away all this half.
Plus side is last time we had a man off we ended up plus three.
Ospreys playing really well here and deservedly ahead..
Turning over saints ball at ease...

Hahahahaha, Ospreys 19 - 10 - Northampton
Excellent interception,
What has happened to Northampton? This is almost their 1st team against the O's 3rd - and the O's have been down to 14 for 20 minutes.

If the Ospreys had A.Jones and P.James playing they would be killing NH.

Ospreys have to sort the scrum out somehow, Saints are just pushing them around the field at will.

You can almost see Northampton knocking the rustiness off. It was a good option taking the cross field kick on amd the execution was good.
19-29 (58 min)
Northampton look like they could cut loose.

Re: Men(Saints) v Boys(Ospreys)
Well played by the Ospreys young lads, the returning Saints boys clearly needed that run out to shake the team rustiness prior to AP matches next week.
It was for a high tackle on Ryan Lamb, who's 5'9" & 25yo to Morgan's 5'8" &19yo. Not quite sure what relevance age was though.
It was the Russian winger popping up in midfield whose floated pass was intercepted.

Another good win by an English side over a Welsh one in the LV.
Well done Saints. Good chance to get the team gelling again after the world cup.
