2012, finally 4 different slam winners?
Before 2004, it was usual to see 4 different slam winners.

Look at how often 4 different players shared the slams in the past every year.
What if 2012 is one of those years?

AO - Djokovic
FO - Nadal
Wimbledon - Murray
USO - Del Potro
Good for the game.
It's due.
Here is to 2012 going back to the basics.

Would be even better I think for Federer to bow out with a win at the USO.
But I agree, 2012 might well throw up 4 different winners, your order might change but basically its not an outside that it wont, as things are going.

Don't know about del Po. He's done well to get back up the rankings this year, but I would have expected him to be even higher. Is he still worrying about his injury? He really needed a big GS series of results this year to get into the top 10. It wouldn't have been that difficult as the points have so gone to the top four this year that not so many points have been needed to get a long way up the rankings.
As for the GS being shared in 2012 - twould be a brave person, IMHO, to say that neither Rafa nor Nole would not win more than one (ooops, a double negative).
