He made you an offer, I also made him an offer, which he came back to negotiate, and I consequently replied to.

Then you decided that you were going to miss out on a good offer, so panicked and confirmed.

As we were several posts into a negotiation, I believe it is for cherries to decide which deal he does and not you. He may well pick yours anyway.

My thoughts...

It's happened before that someone has made an offer that has been quickly accpeted by the selling club and the buying club couldn't then back out (Viva buying Pablo Hernandez for over 20m I seem to recall is one instance).

Where I would though look at is that Cherry did put forward multiple offers and is new to it so is perhaps not quite aware of the procedure and that ENQ should be used if not 100% certain.

By past form Cricket's in his rights, but if Cherry didn't want to go ahead and Cricket refused I'd say that was a bit of bad form, it's a bit of fun at the end of the day to pass the working hours.

That's my view on it.

The deal has been confirmed and there is nothing in the rules about unconfirming so it's done and dusted.

Really where there are multiple interested parties the selling entity should confirm

We don't want to get to the point where we have to get all deals confirmed by both teams, so please apply common sense to it.

And no rushing in to confirm a deal because someone is offering better and you don't want to miss out (and I know that was you did CF because you barely gave him time to breath between asking whether you could confirm it, to actually telling him that you were confirming it)
