WILL THE HOME GROUND EFFECT BENEFIT THE BRITISH TEAM?
Saw this elsewhere and from a post geoff made, Paris seemed to bring the best out of the French this weekend will the British benefit from this "Home Stadium effect" ? If so who do you think would shine in London?
Here is my first list;
Jodie Williams makes the top ten
Philips Idowu gets it all together and flies over 18m
Parsons jumps 2.36
Andy Turner runs sub 13.2
Greg Rutherford exceeds 8.40
Michael Rimmer goes sub 1.43
Jenny meadows dips below 1. 57
Jessica Ennis produces 7000+
Alex Smith throws 76m
Holly Bleasdale goes over 4.70
Luke Cutts goes over 5.75

Whilst the list as a whole might seem hugely unlikely, it's quite likely that several could be realised. Question should really be which one(s) are most likely?

AS it is just an effect which is unmeasurable and affects athletes differently there is no way to assess the likely hood that such a huge occasion might have a good effect on any one athlete, like most threads on forums it is only opinion and fun so join in and have fun pick a few names out of the hat

My fun opinion article was just deleted from 606.
I'm really glad that site is closing. The PC fruits who police it need a reality check. "Pleb" is not swearing, neither is "Prat" but thats allowed.
