Ah Balls.
Poor round and an easy decision for me. I have to go with my rule of thumb that I've applied all along, and that's to go with gingers from Smackdown. No... I mean currently active stars, who've actually done something recently.
HOWEVER... I have accidentally clicked the wrong button So I guess... for every headline impressive performance, I believe you get an equally impressive under the radar one. And (possibly... whatever he is doing these days) Batista has delivered it. Whilst Sheamus has been dropping pipebombs on TV, Batista (possibly... in whatever he does these days) has been quietly (very quietly) cleaning up the debris.
I MEANT TO VOTE FOR SHEAMUS!

I've amended the poll so if you wish to under the radar clean up your debris you can.

Thanks Macc Attack,
I have now swept up my own debris. Sorry Big Dave.

Batista was pretty fortunate to make it to this stage I thought. He is basking in the glow of his final heel run, but that was some 18 months ago, and he may never wrestle again.

I never really rated Big Dave.
Has to be Sheamus. Really buying in to his recent face turn and subsequent push.

Its a shame Batista's heel run only lasted 6 months. If they pulled the trigger on it beforehand and he had an extended run with that character he possibly could be thought of in a much different light.
Litte girl in the front row: I hate you Batista
Batista: I hate you too!
Brilliant.

Ah the battle of Triple H's spot buddies
Couldn't agree with this more Mr H. He was the best character in the company before Cena literally duck taped his legs from under him. Never got Sheamus he seems to have some charisma but just doesn't float my boat

Easy vote today. One is a great big man wrestler, with buckets of charisma, a unique offence and a great look. The other is Batista.
Re: V2 WCC- The Knockout Stages- The Last 16- Match up 6
Gregers I'm really surprised you don't rate Batista at all! are opinions have always been very similar during this competition, for me Batista is one of the top stars in the business his run as mentioned by Brady and Mr H was fantastic, the whole demanding the spot light gimmick and his attitude was heel perfection for me. Sheamus although talented and full potential IMO is not even in the animals league and has long way to go before he can even match batista's achievements.

I guess I was remembering big Dave's face run before hand.
In evolution big Dave was awesome
Early face run was fun
Super big Dave was dull
Heel Dave was awesome
Maybe I've sold him a touch short. He has awesome music as well. Now I think of it I really liked big Dave.
Heaving said that still Sheamus for me. He will be a massive star.

Ok be honest, its the Royal Rumble and the after a countdown from 10 the buzzer goes off and Batista's music hits and the big man walks through the curtain. I'm not ashamed to say that i'd slightly mark out!

I've gone Sheamus too. Immense potential, charismatic babyface, brutal heel, decent (if comedic) look.

I definitely wouldn't, for 10 weeks his character was brilliant, his actual heel turn on Rey was cringeworthy though, 10 weeks in 7 years doesn't do it for me, he was a misreble faceMr H wrote:Ok be honest, its the Royal Rumble and the after a countdown from 10 the buzzer goes off and Batista's music hits and the big man walks through the curtain. I liked Batista. from his run with Evolution, his well executed face turn and matchs with Trips, his first world title run was pretty good, he was involved in 2 exceptional rivalries with both Edge and the Undertaker. Sure, towards the end of his last face run he was getting a bit stale, and his last 3 title reigns were a joke tbh, but I always had a soft spot for the big man. Im with Mr H. I would mark out if he was in the Rumble.
Edit: Still voted for Sheamus.
