If Fed wins Bercy and WTF...
Nadal would be the top 4 with the least number of titles won this year.
Nole would have 10 titles, Murray 5 titles, Fed 4 titles and Nadal 3 titles.
What does this say?
Specially since Fed is 30.

Yes, but Rafa has reached a terrific number of finals so that ought to count for something. If you, say, reached all four GS finals in a season and lost the lot it would be disappointing but no one could say you'd had a poor season.
Rafa, though, is rarely able to finish a season strongly - usually cos he's cream-crackered. Djoko looks to have taken a lot out of himself, and out of Rafa, so Fed has a good chance in London.

It would say nothing.
Whatever happens between now and the end of the season, the order of the top two in terms of achievement this season has already been set.
Novak is the player of the year.
Rafa is second.
Murray and Fed are still battling for third best player of this season. However Fed needs to win both Paris and London to establish himself as the third most successful player of the season.

Which all goes to show once again that the rankings - over the course of time - tell the true story ..........
