Well England are on there way to Euro 2012. The draw is under 3 weeks away. Now there is plenty of time between now and when the tournament begins on June 8th next year. So now guys who makes the final 23 for you? Who would you take? Any gambles? Any comebacks? 5 Strikers or 4? If I had to pick the 23, this would be mine

For me Wickham would be a surprise package and I would hope that he would be much better used than Walcott was at the 2006 World Cup. Ferdinand for me has lost too much pace and think out of him and Terry, Terry is tactically smarter.

Think you're about spot on, Wickham probably not tho I'd presume Defoe will go.

And Micah Richards should be in it as well

Agree almost entirely with the above. Would take Carroll ahead of Wickham though and would prefer to drop Gerrard if possible but Barry and Downing are not good enough alternatives to do so. Maybe Cleverly at a push though he probably wouldn't start and doesn't have enough to make an impact off the bench. Maybe Oxlade-Chamberlain instead...??

The only players I would definetely take though are Joe Hart, Wayne Rooney, Scott Parker and Ashley Cole. All the others I think could easily lose their place.

Why has nobody given Grant Holt a mention. He is the 3rd highest English scoring striker in the Premier League this season. If Zamora and Carroll get in why does Holt not??

One of the main issues is that he isn't playing with any other England internationals, it's one of the reasons I wouldn't be so keen on Zamora. I think there has to be some kind of link between the players otherwises the team may not be as cohesive as it could be.

I understand that but if it was true we would never have any new players and be stuck with the same old tripe all the time. I also think Danny Graham deserves a look in as well.

Have you seen the msn England line-up article? By a guy called Iain and...........boy oh boy is he negative!

Yes the England golden generation never quite achieved it yet however he doesn't mention that English players are plentiful and our St Georges Park will bring even more through the ranks.

So I say go on England, be brave, be respectful but do NOT fear anyone! Don't stick to any one position, experiment! Play and score more than our opposition.
