Metal tiger for head coach, he doesn't beleive in blaming the referee ever and will fall on his own sword if england fails.
That's the kind of no nonsense attitude you need.

I think you should bring in a foreigner to shake it up a it, my vote goes for Billtong...!
Though if he is not interested then I think you should enquire after one of the Kiwis.
Shame you guys got GreyGhost banned, he really could have been your man, had a keen interest in English rugby and wasnt scared of ruffling a few feathers...
Though if the RFU has a say in this they will likely go for someone English, un qualified with little knowledge of selection or the finer points of coaching like Cyril

Beshocked, unfortunately I believe in the old ways of rugby, a little intimidation here, a little nudge there. This modern day game is a little beyond the way I would like to see the game played. If there is a spot at the IRB though to look at law changes, I want that job, thanks.

Sorry maestegmafia, biltongbek, red stag you would all be viable candidates but I was looking for a EQ candidate.
True about greyghost but he might have been deported so I can't include him.
Good call red stag I can't believe I didn't add Portnoy. Sorry guys!
I think I made the poll so you can cancel your vote.

+1 Brilliant Beshocked, a little humour to brighten the dark.
Whilst I am honoured by the votes, I, like Nick Mallet, am unsure that I could work under the current adminstration & structure. I would have to report direct to the board.
I voted for Sam. I think we need more Tigers in the setup!

Whoever voted for me you're mad! I'm a club man! Well at least Sinbad & Woody would get a look in though.
I've long since felt that Johnno, Wells, Rowntree et al were members of this forum - I certainly wouldn't be surprised if some of the Tigers fans listed here may in fact be part of that mafia, sorry coaching staff!
One thing is for sure, ever single member of 606v2, even including the likes of HERSH would do a better job than Squeaky!!
BTW, I picked Beshocked - as no doubt he'd pick some Sarries players which might weaken their squad a bit!

Does Juggler still post around here?
If so, he should definitely be involved somewhere...
even if it is just as a stats machine.
I'd also want Red Stag in the fold to teach our players how to stop getting penalised at the breakdown and scrum.

Wasps - I wouldn't be teaching players that. Any decent team needs to concede a few early penalties to test the water and find the refs limit. They simply play to it for the rest of the game.

RedStag....
I agree with that.
However, where England need help is learning how to understand what the Ref's limit is, and trying not to step beyond it later in the game.
A lot of the time, England still seem to get pinged in the 2nd half for exactly the same things that they were pulled up for earlier in the game.
That says to me that they aren't learning or adapting to the ref... that's where they need help.

Re: Pick the 606 v2 member you would like as the new England Manager
No 606v2 member would go for the job because they´re too smart to take the job whilst that muppet Andrew is free to meddle in his affairs.
But if Andrew falls on his sword or trips over his 200 000 pound pay cheque on the way to the private airport and gets sucked into the engine of his Lear Jet then Mad for Chelsea would be a good shout as a foreign inclusion. He´s French but is passionate about England and speaks a lot of sense.
GG is a great shout though. It´s like Sysphus being told to do something you don´t want to do and not having a say in it but still doing a good job.

Re: Pick the 606 v2 member you would like as the new England Manager
I went for Formerly Known as Sam, he seems like the type to enjoy the head coach role and all the endless infomation/data/stats that goes with it.
I have to take myself out of the vote as i'm keeping myself ready for when Connor needs an expert outside opinion, any day now i'm sure...
I'd have GeordieFalcon in there somewhere though as you can't have an England team without at least one of our Northern cousins in it, water boy maybe?
How about Emack2? He seems to know a thing or two about rugby (NZ mainly), actually he strikes me as more chairman of the board material...
TBH though if you thought MJ was biased can you imagine just how bad it would get with any of us as coaches? It'd be constant Knee jerk reactions followed by mob rule and trying to appease the baying masses with a multiple choice vote.
At least we'd probably see Robshaw in there.

I could also be up for forwards coach beshocked - I played at Prop at school (was rubbish though - only made it into the 3rd XV as a replacement. Once.)
That said I like a good debate over which backs should be used and always take good advice.

That was very kind of you. My 1st act as Manager would be to permanently remove all Bath players from the squad. I'm sure no one would complain too much about the loss of Banahan and Wilson!

I voted for Beshocked because yesterday when he posted his team / squad for the 6N it was pretty much what I would have picked (so he obviously knows a lot about rugby ).
However I think his downfall would be surrounding himself with other coaches to support him in his role, seeing as he has absolutely no experience. What Union would ever employ someone with no experience and put them straight into the top job?

nottins hated me on the old 606 and he blocked me off the 606 facebook group because of his complete dislike,
he wouldn't budge on his opinion even if i tried to show him its just panto,
but beshocked has interacted with me with no hard feeling.
I still reckon safeasmilk is cyril thou.

I vote for Asbo. His love of English rugby and beer is legendary. Also, being semi-Scottish, he's bound to do really well in the job. All Scots football/rugby managers do extremely well in England.
It stands to reason.

Yeah, Asbo hands down. He would have a great rapport with the players and would lift them out of the doldrums.
Plus he has access to various resources the other candidates can only dream of...

Viewtothegym little harsh to compare me to nottins.
Why would I dislike someone I don't know? Everyone hides behind keyboards. Nottins was anti Welsh I am not. I might give the impression I am but I am not. Was impressed by the Welsh team in the world cup. My favourite Welsh players are Warburton and Ickle Shane.
Extra respect to ickle Shane for stopping Bananaman.
Plus everyone knows that I am a Saracens fan because I shout it from the rooftops all the time. Not sure who nottins supported.
Yes safeasmilk could be.
