Thread of the Year - Nominations
Please use this thread as an opportunity to give your nominations for the Thread of the Year on the 606v2 wrestling board. This is not a vote (that will come later) but an opportunity for people to be nominated. Only nominations accompanied by an explanation will count and then these nominations will be taken forward into a vote in a week or so.
Simply put, what is the stand out, stand alone thread of the year for the content and level of engagement?

For me the funniest thread I have ever read and worthy of nomination.

Re: Thread of the Year - Nominations
Got a couple of these:
Unpopular Wrestling Opinions- By Brady12- really captured the imagination of the board, created some interesting discussion points and a really great concept to get people involved.
Ask the tart- Longevity, number of replies, article content its got the lot

I think Heath slater your thoughts should be nominated, it got people interest, got up the google rankings, something like 200 replies and cleaned up a serious amount of debris!

Yeah I'll agree with that too, ED's article should be nominated, it definitely sparked debate

I think Ask the Tart has to be nominated, mainly because it's been running so long I forget it's even a thread sometimes it's that imbedded in my subconcious

Re: Thread of the Year - Nominations
Pauline gets the nod from me.
On another note, I'm reading this at half 10 on a saturday night when I really should be out getting drunk or clubbing or something like that. I've had a bit of a cruddy day and it's genuinely warmed my heart to read of the love for Ask The Tart, especially from a curmudgeon like gaffer. My nomination for poster of the year therefore goes to all of you lovely buggers for turning this board into an infinitely better version of 606.

I can't imagine you clubbing Crips, but what the hell, since you've had a crap day I'll say you're the most insanely knowledgable wrestling poster I've ever met and your views whether I agree with them or not are always well thought out and well reasoned

I love you too. Clubbing isn't really my thing, I went to clubs when I was single but only in the desperate hope that I might experience a modicum of human intimacy. And I'll be damned if I didn't on occasion.

Steady on fellas or I'll need a bucket.... Ask the Tart is easily the greatest thread, I even don't mind it when Gaffer jumps in
