2 years is a long time ..... I Believe Haskell has to be involved the Super Rugby experience he will get with the highlanders will be incredibly useful. And i wouldn't be surprised if Cipriani was Involved For the same reasons (As long as he has a good season for the Rebels, Sir Ian Knows him well from his time as wasps.

Out of those 15 the only people i would put money on being in the Lions Squad (Let alone the test team) would be Tuilagi and Roberts. As i said 2 years is a long time .....

Priestland looks like a very strong candidate to me, but in all honesty it's too far out to make any kind of meaningful speculation

Ashton can't/won't tackle and gives up if things don't go his way. I'd rather Balshaw on the wing !

Perhaps because he was the top try scorer in the 6N and joint top try scorer at the RWC.

Or because he scored two tries when England Beat Wales at the millennium Stadium?

Or Maybe because he has scored 3 Tries Against Oz (The lions opposition in 2013) in two games, one of them being the IRB try of the year ?

Or is it because he has Scored 15 tries out of 18 International Games he has played in?

Have to say some of the teams posted here are hilarious. As for Lawes he isnt good enough in the lineout to start at 5 unless you had a great lineout technician at 4. He really is quite weak come lineout time.

It really is too early to say, Warburton looks good now but who knows what talent England will have in the backrow in two years?

On a serious note, you guys really need to hand out caps to Robshaw, Ksevic and Gibson. Bolox to the Saxons, cap them now.

Robshaw needs a cap, the independent have been praising Gibson quite a lot. With Moody, Worsley, Haskell out of the frame. The flanks need a refresh.

As few Welsh players as possible for the Lions team please, select 36 English so Wales can concentrate on their much more important 3 test tour of Japan!

On current form Chris Robshaw, Mike Brown, Joe Marler and George Robson will be pushing hard for Lions selection.

From what I recall Shane only dived when he'd scored a particularly difficult individual try. Ashton tries to dive all the time in an arrogant attempt to make it his signature move, to satisfy his ever-hungry ego and to rub opposition faces in the score.

So a rather smug joke indeed, as harsh as it may sound, it's written all over his features. Shame for England, if Ashton was a little less up himself individually he could be a valuable team-player.

Hey may have once or twice like most wingers but he doesn't do it for every time he scores even thou he has plenty more reason to seeing as he set up most of his own tries and is the third all time try scorer in world rugby!
