Recommendations? Empty Recommendations?

Post by Guest Wed 09 Mar 2011, 1:13 pm

Alright chaps, I have a 360 and have just completed Fable 3 and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. Looking for a new game to waste precious study time on, not overly keen on shooters though.

As the title says, any recommendations as to what I could buy?

If you want another title shot, I would recommend a Stock Car Derby game Wink

I've played Smackdown vs. Raw 2011 and am an absolute FIFA buff! Played both games to death!

Maybe I should make my own game...

I could call it Motor Accident to Main Event: The story of a successful wrestler!

Sainty,

PES 2011 is a pretty good game.

Storyline based i would go for GTA IV, let me know if you have those or not and ill try and think of more.

I'm not really a PES fan what with playing FIFA so religiously.

Played and completed GTA too, and the accompanying follow ups.

I sound like a right game nerd, but I'm really not!! thumbsup

Can I nip this in the bud right here. KB and Hero have both told me that everyone keeps asking if I am Dr Shoe. I am not. Even Marky keeps asking me.

Hopefully, any of the admin team on here, can go and check the IP addresses and confirm that its not me.

For the record, I have PMd Mat and Crimelord asking to come back as a new character but they havent answered yet. I did have Cole Law for a few weeks but told Mat and Crimelord that it was a mistake to come back undercover and quit.

Nassau - what exactly is your problem? The OP asked what you want from a forum. judging by your comments, its a window to go and lick.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

As you can see, I commented on that thread - I am guessing he just copied and pasted an article that either myself or YI wrote.

Lets not forget that the last time you jumped to conclusions about someones identity, you were made to look a royal bum!

AS I sai - get the other admins to check the IP addresses - its not me.

Read a review of that, not my type of game but it was praised very highly. Have you played Arkham Asylum, I didn't like it much but that is always massively praised? Halo Wars is good if you like point and click.

I just checked the IP addresses used by Hobo and Dr Shoe and they are different. Hobo has used loads of different IP's (mobile access I guess), Dr Shoe only has two IP's he has posted from.

It got a rating of 94% which is obviously really really good so should be a belter.
And it features Felicia Day who is for me perfection.

Guessing you've played Fable 2 (much better than 3) and Assassin's Creed 1 & 2 so here are my suggestions

Darksiders
Mass Effect 1 & 2 (bit of a shooter but more of an RPG)
Fallout 3
Fallout New Vegas
Batman Arkham Asylum
Red Dead Redemption

Im on my second season, the things that suck about it when you become a star player are:

1) they never sub you even if your on your last legs or injured

2) when your stamina is gone they dont rest you and can cause you to get injured alot more

I'm in my 3rd season, as a centre midfielder.

Season 1: 55 league goals as Macclesfield win League 2, 3 red cards
Season 2: 18 league goals as Fulham finish 8th and win the League Cup, missed a large part of the season to injury, 3 red cards
Season 3: 35 league goals so far for Manchester United, currently top and in last 8 of Champions League, won League Cup, 5 red cards. Including getting deliberately sent off to miss Hull City at home and get a rest as i'm a star player.

Roy Keane, Patrick Vieira, eat your heart out! 11 red cards in 3 seasons!

As a Lone Striker

Season 1: 38 league goals with Spurs, missed quarter of the season with an injury and left out of squad for some matches, won League and League Cup

Season 2 (so far): 22 League goals with Spurs

Beer il have a read of the manual to find out, my player is knackered and isn't performing at all

On Fifa 10, once you got to a certain level you had to request to be subbed. Same as when you became Captain you could change tactics.

Season 1: Missed bits of the early season through rep but 32 Apps, 2 goals, 2 red cards, no injuries and an average rating in excess of 8.5. 7 consectutive TOTW awards.

Here's a question. Even though my player scores regularly, is Man of the Match the majority of the time and always gets 8.5-9.5 out of 10, how come I never get a Player of the Week/Month/Season award?!

I haven't been called up to the England squad yet, i'm guessing Dicey is more interested in the Republic of Ireland squad though Wink

I've started my 2nd season, got injured for 53 days, came back, got injured for 13 days and now i'm back.

It's really starting to frustrate me, wish i hadn't signed for City!

Sainty as your not a keen fan of shooters i would have recommended Homefront that's out on the 18th or Call of Duty Black Ops.

Other than that, I'd recommend...nothing. The majority of the games I have are First person shooters or 3rd person shooters.
