Rob 'Squeaky' Andrew
Whats wrong with this picture?
"I absolutely accept responsibility for what is going on here," he said.
"Does it mean I'm going to resign? No I'm not. Does it mean it's all broken?
No it doesn't."

He clearly needs to be pushed but thanks to the administrational abortion known as the RFU, there isn’t anyone there to push him!

Re: Rob 'Squeaky' Andrew
I just ran that through Google Translate and it came back with this...
"I plunged the knife into Martin Johnsons back, but his death was not my fault"
and the alternative...
"I am responsible for performance in England, but I am not responsible for Englands performance"

Well Im speculating. It would be strange but I wouldn't be all that surprised. I more meant it as a question/talking point rather than a statement.

What is wrong with the man, his attempt to hold onto power is pathetic, I wouldn't pis s on him if he was on fire.
At least MJ did the honourable thing and fell onto his own sword and in doing that he still has the respect of the fans and remains a English and Lions legend, Andrew is a coward that can't see the turmoil he is causing to the game he apparently loves.

Why am I not surprised Geordie, in a way I hope the RFU does fall apart at least we could start off with a clean slate one of which Andrew isn't a part of, the more I read what people have to say about him the more of a Dic k he appears to be.
English rugby would be better off without him just like the Jeff will be better off without the Falcons.

GF - I think you mean that if Rob Andrew resigned there would be no-one but the cleaners left in the RFU offices at Twickenham.
I do wonder if he is looking for the England manager post (not the head coach though).

He's a Bath fan, is any more explanation required?

From an external perspective... the guy is an arrogant self-obsessed and talentless plonker who is solely focused on his own ascent of the greasy pole. He couldn't give a tinkers tiddly if England do well or not, provided he gets a promotion out of it, and gets to appear on the TV with his shiny suit and his slick hair cut and his unbearable sideways better-than-you smirk.

RA won't jump, but Manu will know how to push him overboard. As will teh RFU.

Re: Rob 'Squeaky' Andrew
I doubt very much that RA will be removed or leave his position, well not until after 2015. He is in that position more for personal glory than for the good of English rugby.
I said earlier that he had failed in his position by not supporting the inexperienced MJ during the media storm in NZ, he has since admitted this but tht is still not an excuse. If he was able to accept MJ's resignation for failing in his position why was he then not as critical on himself and follow suit?
The current set up with him is a poisen chalice and there is no top manager worth their salt that will touch it whilst he is there. I fear periods of caretaker managers hired and fired and not being given the time to settle and build the team. His statment that he knows what the team will be in 10 weeks time for the 6N shows to me that no matter what caretaker manager comes in, he will be pulling the strings. Not good signs for England i fear.
