I thought that Anelka signing for Nando was a good one, but he may well disappear from our view.

The standard of the league is considered when rating a player.
For example, Brian Ruiz was brilliant in Holland, but it was always said that he needed to prove it in a bigger league.
He's not doing too much at Fulham yet, which gives an indication of the strength of the dutch league

Apparently the Hammers were interested in him, or still are.
I don't think we need another striker right now, but his quality would make me think again. Worked for Big Sam before I believe?

Chelsea - Sturridge came through man City's youth system
Tottenham - Walker came through Sheff Uniteds
Arsenal - Wilshere, Szschszcghszesney, Gibbs, Frimpong, Diaby
Man City - Richards
OF yeah forgot about Sturridge from city and Walker.
Wilshere......hummmm.....ok that can be given, he is first team not his fault hes injured.
Frimpong, questionable as a first teamer.
Szschszcghszesney was from Warsaw
Gibbs was Wimbledon or whatever they were called at the time.
Diaby was from flipping france, PSG I think.

Why is it so hard to find defenders? I'd like to get TP's in today.

Fair enough on Diaby.
Gibbs joined the Arsenal youth set-up as a 14 year old
Szczęsny joined the youth set-up as a 15 year old.
So granted, they did join from someone else's youth set-up. But I see your point.
And Richards joined City as a 12/13 year old

What position defender you after and how much are you looking to pay? I may be willing to let one of Bonucci or Koscielny go for the right price

It's difficult Viva.
I would say that they spent the majority of their youth career with your club.
Like Richards was Leeds and Oldham I think, but joined City as a 12/13 year old, so has to be put down as an Academy product. Otherwise, United wouldn't be able to claim Beckham or Giggs down as academy products, which would be daft. Everyone in the world considers them as products of the United youth system.

Gibbs was a Wimbledon youth player and switched the the Arsenal academy at 14 when Wimbledon changed to MK Dons, so your mate is right.

A left back and centre back for £16million ideally but that's asking for a massive amount so a CB who can play at LB for about £12million would do me.

AH, don't think I can help. I would be looking for £18m for Kos and more for Bonucci.

Only till 14 when Chelsea nicked him, so I still class him as one of theirs. Plus the fact he only made the switch to CB at Chelsea.
If West Ham had kept a hold of all our products, we'd be one hell of a team now. But why do things the easy way?

Malaga set to offer Chelsea striker Lukaku first-team football in January loan move!
Chelsea could be set to ship out Romelu Lukaku on loan to Malaga to hand the youngster more experience of first-team football. Lukaku, 18, was an £18million summer acquisition from Anderlecht and has been hailed as the new Didier Drogba.

Lazy journalism.
Lukaku cannot join anyone in January as UEFA rules (or FIFA not sure) say that you cannot play for more than 2 clubs in any season. Having played for Anderlecht and Chelsea this season, he cannot play for anyone else until July. I don't know whether that means he can go back to Anderlecht or not.

Hmmmmmmmm Interesting......afternoon. Reasons been posted yet?
I think my defensive triangle of Dawson and Taylor, with Huddlestone playing just in front, is one of the best in the league. Even with Taylors injury. Only say that in case someone who is looking for CB's try and buys them
