It was a genuine robbery, what do you expect him to say?

It was bad though, 10-2. If Chisora picked up a draw in one of those rounds it would be a total schooling.

I expect him to be more contrite...
He's acting like Alex Ferguson after another team gets a dodgy penalty......

When was the last time a Warren show produced a robbery of this caliber?
There have been some slight stinkies. But this was a humdinger, if you expected him not to say anything then you are obviously on another planet

I had it 9 - 3 with one round a bit debatable and I gave it to Chisora so at the very least it was 8 rounds - 4 to Chisora in my view. Cannot for the life of me see how Helenius actually won more than 4 rounds.

117-111 Chisora, for me. Owe him an apology as I thought he'd be well beaten. Just wish he'd turned up in that condition and with that purpose for the Fury fight.

He probably thought Fury is as bad as we do.

Might be worth a rematch with Chisora sometime soon..preferably before Price knocks him out..

Re: "Warren fumes at Chisora decision" !!!
Helenius was definitely given an early Christmas present with this result. At no point did he look like he was in control of the fight, so to be given the win was an absolute disgrace.
All credit due to Chisora for pulling out a performance I for one didn't think he was capable of. A rematch with either Helenius or Fury would definitely be one I'd be up for watching...

Re: "Warren fumes at Chisora decision" !!!
The Fury rematch is a very realistic possibility, particularly as Fury says he wants to win the Lonsdale belt outright. Wouldn't bother with Helenius, though; no way he's going to leave mainland Europe for a while yet, what with the extra protection he's clearly getting from judges.
Likewise, Chisora won't want to risk another robbery over there. He's gone a fair way to making up for his non-showing against Fury, hopefully if they have a rematch he can prove me right in my belief that he's the superior talent of the two.

Re: "Warren fumes at Chisora decision" !!!
If Chisora had taken the fight to Helenius instead of all the showboating histrionics, we'd probably not be having this discussion.
Close rounds will be scored to the defending champion / home fighter, this is not a surprise, it has happened for years, it was up to Dereck to go there and take the titles off Helenius.
Not the robbery some seem to think it was in my book.

Re: "Warren fumes at Chisora decision" !!!
Not sure in the heavyweight division..this kind of decision will hurt Chisore because unlike years gone by there is a shortage of challengers at or near the top level...
So he's bound to bag a shot anyway...........Never-the-less it's still a shame to see a guy not get his due....
However some folk should remember that plenty haven't on some cards closer to home..before they start fuming..

Re: "Warren fumes at Chisora decision" !!!
The thing is Union, I don't think that many of the rounds were really that 'close.' On top of that, the fact of the matter is that judges aren't meant to have a 'close rounds go to the champion / home fighter' mentality, a point which people seem to be ignoring. If they do have such a mindset going in to the fight, they're breaking the rules of judging, simple as that.
This was very much worthy of 'robbery' status, for me.

Helenius was landing as many punches as Chisora. I think the fact that Robert's girly hair was flicking around al over the place when he was blocking shots made it look like he was getting hit more often than he actually was.
But, as Scott says, IDKSAB.

"Helenius was landing as many punches as Chisora"
Combubox had Chisora landing double. I don't like stats but it was clear to anyone watching Helenius wasn’t landing as many.
The two polls I’ve seen, combined, have it at 602 for Chisora, and 35 for Helenius. I can only deduce the 35 were wumming.
Trying to justify that decision is insane.

Re: "Warren fumes at Chisora decision" !!!
Landing the most punches =/= winning the round.
Perhaps compubox fell for the flicky hair thing as well then.
For the record, I had it 115-113 to Chisora.

Re: "Warren fumes at Chisora decision" !!!
I agree with Cane on this one
Dont have it at quite this 'total robbery' that people say but still admit that Chisora should have won the fight
Also agree with Truss that due to the current state of the heavyweight division this will not hold him back too bad
As for Frank Warren...he thought Katsidis v Mitchell was stopped too early so although he is probably right on this one I ignore him nowadays

You were the one talking about how many punches they were landing, it was in response to that error.
Chisora won every other facet of the scoring criteria in the vast majority of the rounds.

Someone needs to take some clippers to that boy. Think Chisora was screwed over but as Truss said Warren's guys have had their fair share of questionable wins.

Doesn't matter if its a Warren guy or not. Face it, Warren isn;t going to lose any sleep over this decision is he. The one it affects is Del. I had him up by 2-3 rounds and I was being extremely generous in giving Helenanus the hometown factor. In short Del won about 7 rounds very clearly and without doubt.
If I had scored it without the hometown factor, I gave it 10-2 to Chisora.

Re: "Warren fumes at Chisora decision" !!!
I have to agree with Union somewhat as I didn't have it as wide as many others did, I even had it level going into the 9th. I ended up having Chisora winning by 3 after giving the last round to Helenius, so while I think he won there was plenty earlier rounds I was scoring Chisora that were pretty debatable that I could have seen going the other way.
Should Chisora have won, yes but I'm not of the opinion it was a complete robbery as decisions go.

I'd actually side with Helenius in this fight, I'm not convinced Chisora is that big a puncher but he does have a pretty good chin. I never thought Helenius was ever in any trouble during their fight other than the fact he looked a little clueless tactics wise, while I think Fury could, can't believe I'm about to say this, outbox Helenius I do think he would get tagged a few times while doing it and I'm not so sure Fury has the same chin Chisora does.
I could be wrong though.

Re: "Warren fumes at Chisora decision" !!!
That's why I think it's a bit of a pick 'em Dass, there's an awful lot of questions surrounding it, Fury's chin, Helenius tactics and suspect boxing ability, but both are big men that don't have a clue as to what to do when under some form of pressure. Fury probably has better boxing ability and work rate (Jesus christ did I just write that?) but not sure he can take Helenius' best shots, Fury might not have the power to take Helenius out either, but his power is a bit of an unknown quantity in truth, one minute he seems to have good power the next it's a bit poor. Probably to do with what condition he is coming in the ring in.
