Other than the obvious at welter, any other big fights to look forward to?

How do you see them panning out?

Brook - Mike Jones: Brook late stoppage
Khan - Peterson: Khan UD

Plenty more, but just a few to get started.

I like forwards to seeing Arreola and his modern honed physique and speed punching ability to dominate the heavyweight scene.

Looking forwards to others

Rios vs anyone, give him Maidana = FOTY

Just my wishlist.

V Klitschko vs Fury. I can't stand Fury and Vitali would batter him.

Syllakh vs Hopkins. Won't happen Bhop is all about the money but I think Syllakh would cause him a lot of problems.

Ward vs Bute. The top 2 at the weight and a proper unification bout.

Martinez vs Lara. I like Lara think he would give Martinez a better fight than most at 154/160lbs. Definetely a more interesting opponent than Macklin or Barker.

Cotto vs Alvarez. Would be a great indication of where both are at in there careers. I'm a big fan of Alvarez but Cintron was hardly a test and as well as Cotto boxed against the criminal Marg is past it.

Rios vs Gamboa. Not sure this would last long Gamboa would expose Rios badly. Rios is slow and defencively pretty inept. Gamboa would school him and spark him out.

Donaire vs Juanma Lopez. Lopez was exposed against Salido but Salido is no mug. Lopez is a big man at 126lbs and can certainly bang. Donaires speed would cause him a lot of problems. Probably have Donaire as favourite but not by much.

Kameda vs Mares. Kameda was froze out the bantamweight picture because he wouldn't leave Japan. The guy makes more money for one fight than Mares did for the whole tournament. Would need to favour Kameda for this one he's an excellent counter puncher.

Segura vs Hernan Marquez. There was talk this could happen before Viloria shocked the World and beat Segura. Hopefully it can still happen it has FOTY written all over it.

Ioka vs Joyi. 2 very technically gifted boxers. It wouldn't be a war but a very good match up. Ioka is a future P4P top 5 boxer imo. Joyi is very good but under rated due to the fact he is a straw weight.

Yeah, not exactly huge fights, but exciting fights, I'd love to see some brawling between:

Any mix of Maidana/Matthyse/Rios at 140

Abraham vs Chavez Jr at 160

Cloud vs Pascal at 175

Not really a list of the world's purest boxers there, but having competitive scraps with quality 2nd tier guys in amongst "superfights" is the key I think.

Rigondeaux vs Nishioka. Nishioka is looking to fight in the U.S which makes htis a bit more realistic now. Would need to go with Nishioka just due to his experience but Rigondeaux is a terrific talent just a shame he is so inactive.

That's my main issue with boxing today. No-one other than the obvious 2 gets the pulse racing. We need rivalries or competitive fights between two equally matched fighters at the same weight. Ward is the latest superstar in the making but sadly for us, he's head and shoulders above anyone at his weight.

Mike Jones vs Kell Brook would be one of the fights of the year IMO.

I'd love to see Froch vs Kessler, Khan vs Bradley and Haye vs Klitschko

Don't think I want to see Pacquiao vs Mayweather anymore. I think Mayweather would smash him.

Would love to see Ward v Bute as it is a great division and following the innovation that was the Super 6 (irrespective of it's teething problems, it should be commended for trying something different) it would give us a genuine champion, which are few and far between these days.

Donaire v Lopez is still one that needs to be made. Mitchell v someone like Linares (or Ricky Burns domestically) to see if he has put his problems behind him and can fufil his potential. I would like to see Macklin v Murray to earn another shot at a middleweight title.

Failing all that, Grasshopper v European Hornet II would get my juices flowing.

Mind the windows Tino.

Fury-Helenius would be my "one for the moment". I'd like Fury to get a belt - if only to shut those people who say he's absolutely rubbish up. He's not Ali, but he's not Eric Crumble either.

Fury described himself as athletic. I nearly passed out.

No. You're making it up, surely. He's got a BMI like Butterbean. He's 6'9 - and should look much, much slimmer than that.

Maidana/Matthysse/Rios- any would do

Rios vs Ortiz, yes Ortiz is at 147 and rios is at 135 but these 2 don't like each other. They have a real rivalry and the 2 camps have had a couple of run ins i think. Rios will be at 140 lbs in his next fight and if a 144lbs catch weight is agreed on if think it would be unbelievable

Donaire vs Rigondeux, two of the best skilled fighters in the world atm. Rigondeux is such a talent and if his amateur record is anything to go by he will be donaires most dangerous opponent at the weight

Murray vs Macklin, will make the best fight out of our trio including barker. Both fought sturm and there styles should gel well. Winner vs sturm?

Cotto Vs Alvarez, late 2012, if alvarez can get a couple of wins over the likes of martiroysan and Kirkland then this fight would be for light middleweight dominance. Another Mexican-puerto Rican fight also

Chisora- Mitchell, both have similar build, both throw lots and stylistically would make the best watching in the heavyweight division. Mitchell has more skills and hits harder but i think chisora has the better chin and higher output

Ward-Bute, to once and for all see who the #1 is

Lopez vs Salido 2, the first fight was very good. both like to go to war and if gamboa goes it is between these 2 and mikey garcia for the #1 spot excluding john who is happy to sit back

Cloud vs Sillakh, sillakh is the future of the division but may be chinny. If there was a guy to find that out i would put my money on cloud

Abner Mares v Moreno
Kenny Anderson v Degale
Groves v Magee
Brook v Berto
Burns v Crolla
Price v Fury
Stu Hall v Ryan Farrag
Chisora v Mitchell

A few to go on with

I must be out of the loop. Which Mitchell should Chisora fight? Kevin Mitchel after a few pies? Or Seth Mitchell?

Khan v Matthysse

No way Khan goes near Matthyse in my opinion. He tested himself against Maidana and just passed, but he must be well aware now how much he struggles with relentless pressure fighters. I can't see him ever giving Maidana a rematch, and I can't see him going looking for Matthyse, who's much like a carbon copy of Maidana.

And Guerrero v Rios: Am I the only one who thinks Guerrero would be like a matador to Rios' bull? Rios is such a strong fighter, and he's definitely got a fighting heart, but, just like Margarito did, I think he would get flummoxed by a classy operator - which I consider Guerrero to be.

Can't see it either, but it was more of a wish. Shame as I think it would be a great fight.

I do like Guerrero, hope he recovers fully from his injury as he could be exciting next year.

I would be very surprised with this. Guerrero isn't a huge name, and after not fighting since katsidis he isn't exactly on a high like ortiz was. Guerrero hasn't faced many top fighters and hasn't fought at 140 let alone 147lbs. He uses his jab and normally has height and reach advantages, something he won't get vs floyd.

He should fight the 140lb guys, there are plenty of them. Rios should be outboxed, but he has more power than any of roberts previous opponents and is a phenomenal body puncher and unlike katsidis, doesn't show when hes hurt.

Domestically I look forward to seeing

a) Burns vs Mitchell - Burns takes this on a close but clear UD

b) Anything that involves David Price...preferably v Tyson Fury. Think Price would make short work of him if Im honest.

Also looking forward to seeing how Kell Brook does moving up the ladder in WW division
