Can start putting squads up if you like lads.
40 max (to start) and 15 academy - check rules (will adjust if needed)
Can people refrain from domestics yet though, we'll look to start in a few weeks with that

Just busted out a quick team page, still need to confirm academy spots and such like. What is the criteria for players in the academy? Is it age, if so, what age? Cheers

Cheers fella, guess it's best to have as many in there as possible then? What are you doing with young players on edge of first team squad, but still academy age? Where do they sit?

Re: Aviva Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
Tips on this game...
Good English is key - you need to start 4 English players so your team needs a strong English core to do well. Don't deal away your English players unless improving or getting English back.
Youngsters - dealing on a few kids for a starter may sound like a good idea now but those kids could come back to haunt you. When I joined the AP Leciester had players like Youngs and Manu in their academy. Part of the fun is guessing who the next big thing is. 9/10 youngsters turn into average AP players so the do what you've got to do

Sounds good to me Pooly.
I take it transfers will open up once everyone has their squad page in? Will need to research the Chiefs a little as a lot of their youngsters are dual registered in the Championship, so may take me a bit of time.

Pull....do you want to look after the league table?
Pete, no rush mate, good to have you on board anyway.
Once all the teams are in I'll probably kick the draft off and then allow a few foreigns (as per pre-season) then maybe go for domestics and opening fixtures.

Re: Aviva Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
Squad updated on my page now.
If this game runs and I can keep the Chiefs up, in 3-4 years time I could have an amazing backline. I have 6 academy backs, who all lined up for England U18's this summer against Australia.

Jack Nowell is an awesome talent down there along with Coote , Slade and Canty. They do have one of the best academy set ups in the country.

Heard great things about Slade, was talking to Will Greenwood at the Bath 7s, he was saying that he is one to look out for and he was literally cheering him on from the sideline. Praise indeed.

He is meant to be the dogs bollicks. I know they thought about taking him to JRWC when he was 15 but couldn't get him insured or something with it being classed as 'senior rugby'.
Slade is potentially better than George Ford by alot of peoples reckoning but thats coming from Chiefs forums.

Re: Aviva Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
When I was in that age group, there was a young FH who was incredible, played England 2 years young and had some Prem and HC caps. Everyone said he was immense and the next big thing. Some would say pulling Kelly Brook is an achievement on its own, but it goes to show how these 'predigious talents' can easily go awry

Re: Aviva Premiership Season 1 - Homepage
Am looking forward to this game starting and trying to build my side up.
Still remember when the other AP game started 4 seasons ago, having to really build Saracens up as it was just before the Saffa investment and the likes of Joubert, Burger etc coming into the club. Managed to make the play off final in season one with a half back pairing of de Kock and Glen Jackson, but lost to stnick's London Irish.
If I can make the final with the Chiefs in season 1 that will be one hell of an achievement!
