The only way Garvey is substitutable in that deal for me is if it is Gibson that comes in, which I'm guessing you are unlikely to want to do.

Re: London Irish
If you are looking to release players, you have 4 scrummies and 4 out halves which is probably way more than you need, you could probably release one of each. Samson is probably the 9 to offload, and the 10 is a difficult choice between Jarvis and Geraghty as Jarvis is steady but unspectacular while Geraghty is out of sight out of mind.
Blaney is rubish and I have no idea who Juan Cruz Jordan is??? Thorpe and Roche are not great either.
If you choose to offload Geraghty let me know as I would take a small punt on him and give you a little more than the £2.5 million you would get on releases. Am also prepared to pay cash for Marland Yarde, although wouldn't break the bank for him.

I thought you'd snap my hand off, was a huge gamble for me. You've prob done me a favour really as Id have struggled in the backrow if I'd have dealt.

I'd go £5 million for him. He's not first choice in real life at Irish so is a gamble.

Re: London Irish
Because as a pair I get some strength in depth which I don't get with signing just the one of them.
Will go to £7m for Treviranus or £5.5m for Gray, but no higher than that.

Not worth holding out over £0.5 million eh. You might be right.
Go on then £7.5 million for Treviranus.

Re: London Irish
We all want to swing every deal as much our own way as possible I guess, and with a playing squad without big names and a need to use cash in the foreigns have to try to get the prices down as far as possible.

Re: London Irish
After a gruelling first AP game your squad has picked up the following injuries:
Week highlighted is the week they become available.
Week 7 - Nick Kennedy
Week 8 - Paul Hodgson
Week 9 - Daniel Bowden
Week 10 - Tom Homer
Week 11 - Sailosi Tagicakibau

Re: London Irish
Mate, if you think that Ansbro, who I would lose for large chunks of the season is worth losing a Samoan international and £14 million for then we are going to struggle as we are a million miles apart in our valuations.

Peel/Wilko/Davit available?
I agree Losi is better than Cueto, but Cueto is EQ and avaliable during internationals, so Losi is by no means worth loads and loads more. To get any of Peel, Wilko or Davit involved it would have to involve a deal in which your i gained largely in other area.
If you wanted one of them involved maybe
Cueto, Wilko, H.Fourie and Buckley
for
Losi, Bowden, and 4 players academy players of my choice (not including Gibson)
The 4 academy players is instead of me getting a rejection straight away asking for your better players

Ed Shiggery (FL) [WAL]
David Sisi (N8) [ENG]
Freddie Clarke (N8) [ENG]
Jack Moates (SH) [ENG]
Anthony Watson (WG) [ENG]
The thing is that takes away your best academy talent, which makes it an even bigger risk, as non of the above have made it in any sort of way. So ideally i'd like Gray coming my way and then 2 more academy players.
Cueto, Wilko, H.Fourie, Mathie and Buckley

Losi, Bowden, Gray, Allinson and 2 academy players (Sisi and Watson)
