Re: London Irish
I'm interested in a few of your players, so what players of mine are you interested in so i can try and rustle up a deal that you might be interested in.

This is the deal I was talking about
Hipkiss + Flatman + Donald
=
Lahiff + Watson + Yarde
Donald is the bit i'm unsure about to be honest, he is the one I most want to keep, think he'll come good next year with a full preseason. I'd do the deal for the 3 youngsters and have to get another 10 in foreigns

Am interested in Delon, Losi, Yarde, Watson and Lahiff.
Willing to go big for them and include Wilko and some other of my english starters and maybe J.Fourie if the deal was right?
Do you have any interest??

Re: London Irish
There's no way I can do that, that's why we added Hipkiss in the first place. I'd lose three solid ex internationals for 3 completely unproven, although talented youngsters. Flatman and Donald both start for me, you're three are replacements at best!

Re: London Irish
I'm thinking 3 gains to you and of 2 of those massive.
None of those players would go for the players offered.

I'm pretty sure he is too....Croft is EQ though and not seeing out his career in Japan so is much more valuable for the future.

I'm struggling Pull tbh, I'd need a centre back and they're all a big drop from Barnes.

Re: London Irish
Thats too much of a risk for me. Fourie is the best in the world, Losi is not.
Gaskell is young and EQ starter for me, Evans is a squad player.
Cueto is a solid international, and Yarde and Watson are not even first choice for an Amlin club.
I also think with Homer starting every game for Irish next season his stock will rise very quickly, but if you don't want to get rid of Delon thats fair enough.
If you were to put a ££ value on Yarde and Watson individually what would it be?

Re: London Irish
Fourie is only 28, he's got plenty of time left in him. For me he will be SA's 13 at the next world cup. He is better than any northern hemisphere 13 by a mile, BOD is past it and Rougerie has never been succesful on the international stage at 13. AAC and Smith you could make cases for but in reality theres nothing in it.
12 mill is too much for such unproven talent. Watson isn't even in the England squad for the junior world cup, so i think i'll leave it

Re: London Irish
Didn't realise he got slated, just others said they preferred Barrett and some of those questioned his defence. I've had an awful couple of days on here, missed a deal and all my preferred U21 targets and now you've grabbed my number 1 foreign target! C rapsticks!
Lahiff was actually my first target really, not that fussed on Yarde / Watson.
Just thinking about my next 10, what do you reckon, McAllister, Grant, FTD, Hook?

Re: London Irish
I'll leave it mate. 10 mill is too much for players who don't start for clubs when you can get players who are excelling in super rugby and close to international honours for 16 mill e.g. Goosen.

No thanks, lose a world class player for players that I wouldn't consider world class player. I need a player of similar quality to Genia in any deal

I could do Matt Smith in a deal if you want a physical OC to partner Bowden? He won't set the world alight but a good option always available

Doing Fourie for Losi weakens my starting XV, so i need to make an improvement in another area. As you want to keep Delon, anyway of getting Homer involved?

Sorry mate thought if replyed.
If I lose Fofana I lose a lot of fire power in my back line and I'm not keen to lose him.

Yep, all 3, but can't work out in what order. Who you after from me?
Think Franks, Steyn and Dagg the only ones NFS, but reluctant to lose starting EQs without at least equal replacements

Mate I didn't see you were in this league!
Yeh I'm good bud - yep working with my mum training adults. Loving it - once I got over the nerves of talking to large groups of people!
How's things your end?
You still in football league and in touch with the old crowd?
I could let Mitchell go. Will consider your £10m offer and let you know

Re: London Irish
The only Londno Irish players i know who are definetly retiring are Roche and Casey. Rautenbaach is going to play in the french division 2 i read somewhere, and i think Dermody is off back to NZ to play ANZ cup so i don't think they've retired.
I'd double check with Stnick though mate
