Re: Newcastle Falcons
Didn't realise he was injured, that's changed things a bit. I'm not keen on losing Perenise, come 3Ns, he'll be first choice and a great impact, but if it meant getting a gain elsewhere and he was on your list...
How about then
Heathcote + Welch

Clegg + Lund

I don't see the benefits of Kaino over Burger outweighing the negatives of losing Kubs for Wilson.
Any chance of getting Thompstone or Mark Wilson in a smaller deal?

Re: Newcastle Falcons
Apologies for not responding sooner Fluxy.
Thanks for the advice.
Not sure I want to lose many of my English youngsters. They are young and English plus great prospects.
What are you willing to offer me for Farrell? I think he would strengthen your options at fly half and allow Pienaar to be scrum half.

Re: Newcastle Falcons
Not going to lose Parra because he works well with Brock. They are an unit. I will either sell both for a good deal or neither.
I am interested in Kaino.
Offers for Farrell and others are welcome though.

Re: Newcastle Falcons
I mean that I can't give you two of my backrowers for Kaino.
Kaino is an excellent player but he is not worth both Kelly Brown and Ernst Joubert IMO. Their total value is more.
Ernst Joubert is arguably the best no 8 in the AP.
Kelly Brown is one of the best 6s in the NH. Arguably Scotland's most valuable player.
My offer is one of my backrowers and someone else. If you feel it's not enough just say so.

Re: Newcastle Falcons
Mafi, Evans, Allinson, King, Ojo, and Thompstone all tickle my fancy.
Would Gibson or Lahiff be available, do I have any players which interest you for them, and the above?
==
Hi mate
Mafi/Evans could go, I would need Casey/Swinson in return at least though, just so I have lock cover.
Could look at an Allinson/Hodgson swap.. Allinson in better form though.
Would struggle to lose King I think.
Ojo and Thompstone could be available for cash - around £17 mil.
Let me know what you think.

Swinson + Welch + Hodgson + Tuilagi
=
Mafi + Gibson + Allinson + Ojo/thompstone

If you're not looking to spend money, I'd need some big players in there eg Corbs, Hudson, Kaino, Brussow, Pienaar....
Otherwise I'm just slightly weakening my side each time as I rate all mine in the above higher than their counterparts. Sorry mate.

Re: Newcastle Falcons
No sorry Fluxy.
Spencer > Hodgson - if he can outplay Yachvili and make Stringer benchwarm he's doing a bloody good job. Probably Saracen's best performer in the HC.
Farrell > Heathcote - English international vs an inexperienced youngster - no contest.
Tuilagi is better than Ransom but much older - less potential.
In my opinion of course. Plus all three of my players are English.

Re: Newcastle Falcons
I feel like the bad guy.
I rate all my players higher - hence why you want them!
As cruel as it is I am not a fan of any of those 3 players.
I definitely prefer Parra to Pienaar. Brock with his performance against Sarries recently has really made me warm to him. I already have the best Hodgson there is!
Farrell vs Heathcote - my answer is obvious!
P.S to make a deal with me it needs to be balanced.

Re: Newcastle Falcons
Preferred last offer, gonna structure this same way
Kaino => Nonu (Reasons stated)
Morgan >> Shingler (EQ and different quality)
Haskell >> Hala (EQ and different quality)
Fasa = Poff (Fasa better player but Poof probably better 7)
So basically I get a small gain especially with Kaino in Japan....not at all worth it

Teams aren't up to same standard which usually means your standard drops and you don't play against quality so you can't really be rated.

Re: Newcastle Falcons
How I see offer
Kaino = Nonu
Kaino best 6 in world for me while Nonu 2nd best 12. However Kaino heading off top Japan so give it as equal
Morgan > Corbs
Both established England players. Think Morgan is higher up ranking of 8's than Corbs at 1's. Morgan is also coming to prem and has more potential, such a raw talent
Haskell >> Hala'faluia
Haskell for me should be back up to England's starting back row.
Mullan >> Waldouck
Mullan is a fringe EPS
Still no reason I would do it, not even a tempter. I'm a big fan of Shingler possibly prefer him to Waldouck, young and talented
