Transfer Day Deadline - 31/01/2011
I love this day.
This is the day we hear rumours about people being sited at airports, training grounds and meeting managers in dodgy hotels.
"my best mate was told by his neighbours bin man that he is friends with Charlie Adam's sister's school friend and he is going to Spurs instead of Liverpool"
Cant beat it lol
What deadline day deals do you see really happening?
What deals would you like to see?

Fernando Torres to Chelsea is one I think will happen, but I'd love to see United sign someone on deadline day!

who would you like to see at Man U?
I think they will need some cover at right back with Rafael being injured

I've heard a rumour Maicon wants out at Inter, but not too sure. Would love to see Rafinha come to United though.

if they could get Macion he would be a major coup.
Just like Evra, hes the type of wing back any team would wish for.

Well being a Bristol City fan........
With the news today that Jon Stead would be out for 2 months Millen may have to enter the loan market, with which we could see a return for Sam Vokes to Ashton Gate. Read somewhere that Burnley could be willing to listen to offers on Chris Iwelumo if they sign Austin which they now have would love to see him return to us.
Havn't heard anything to suggest this could happen however i would like to see us make a move to bring Giovanni Dos Santos in on loan until the end of the season. I'm not sure if there is a rule about the max number of players you can have on loan from one club however Millen has forged a good relationship with Harry it seems as we have loaned Steven Caulker and Danny Rose from them so we would be able to offer him first team games regularly as Maynard wont be match fit for another month or so i would expect.

a few things doing the rounds in the press today.
Chelsea are to make a £40m bid for Torres, having had an initial bid of about £35m rejected, and will throw in young striker Daniel Sturridge as an extra.
Tottenham have tabled a new improved £25m bid for Newcastle's 22-year-old striker Andy Carroll.
Blackpool have rejected an improved Liverpool bid for midfielder Charlie Adam.
