Chelsea Transfer Policy Summer 2011
Afternoon all, I thought we could start the rumour mill for who Chelsea will sign this summer and on the other side of the coin who we will be allowing to move on. From the gossip columns it appears as if Drogba will leave in the summer which in my mind isn't a bad move as Malaria has definitely affected him likewise Jose Bosingwa must also be a favourite to leave after a woeful season.
As for signings Neymar appears the obvious choice along with a pacy right sided player such as Ashley Young.
Thoughts?

Re: Chelsea Transfer Policy Summer 2011
Neymar looks quality, I know he was only up against Scotland (no disrespect intended) but his value is rising constantly now and Chelsea may have pay a fair bit more than they hoped to last summer as I can see others joining the fray to get him when the window opens.
Re: Chelsea Transfer Policy Summer 2011
chelsea will most likely bring in neymar and maybe 1 more player like ashley young

Drogba and Bosingwa 100% on their way out. I think Anelka should be shown the door too.
They need to take in a striker to compliment Torres - there strikers are dreadful just now.

Bring back Danny Sturridge, the man is a footballing GOD.
I really think we need a right winger though.

I'm not a Chelsea fan but find this hard because not sure how I see them playing next year. For me they pace pace out wide. Always solid in the middle of the park. Heard Malouda may be leaving and if this is true a couple of pacey wide men would be needed.

It looks like Drogba, Malouda, Kalou and possibly Anelka will be leaving, thats a good thing IMO, Chelsea need younger fresher faces and as long as all the old guard are a noisy majority new faces will always struggle

Dx Dan, totally agree with the Danny Sturridge quote.
I'm not a fan of Chelsea myself, to be fair i'm the opposite, but what i've seen of him at Bolton is mindbobling.

I would like to see us go for Sanchez from Udinese, but he looks to be off to Man City. It would appear to be van der Wiel and possibly Neymar and Lukaku. All good players but once again all our width would come from full back.

If We Are Looking For A Winger, Might Sound Odd But Adam Johnson From Man City, City Will Look To Bring In As They Usually Do 10Players, Johnson Would Do Well On Either Wing For Us

Good spot on Johnson though would Man City sell him to us? Ashley Young could do well but he can sometimes drift in and out of the action.
There aren't a huge number of natural wingers out there so I wouldn't be surprised if they went for not getting one and sticking to a narrower way of playing.

Marin at werder breman is a decent winger. Others could be dzagoev at cska from the academy Roman funds, Honda wouldn't be bad either.
Sanchez looks set for city though.
Would anyone want robben back? Hes less injury prone these days.

Micheal bastos and eden hazard are another 2 I can think of realistically.

Giz - I thought that Marin was more of an attacking midfielder like Kroos, Ozil and Goetze.
I spoke to someone that I knew in Russia about Dzagoev who said he is unlikely to succeed outside of Russia for personality reasons.
Robben has been great when he has played this season

Not sure Josh, I seem to remember him being very quick. Breman would cash in on him though. Hes a left winger I think.
Dzagoev I know had a good rep. But I haven't seen him play so couldn't really say.
Robben I was always shocked left, I was watching the matches from the 05 season other day and we played so slick with him in the team.

Robben decided he wanted to leave and £25m was a good fee for him - I think we did quite well out of that deal tbf.

Lille want alot of cash for hazard though.
Aguero talk has been quite lately aswell so maybe hes off the radar now.
Hamsik and lavessi from napoli would be decent signings.

hazard is 1 of the few players will splash out for it seems.
aguero signed a new contract so won't be going anywhere.
hamsik isn't good enough , lavezzi is good but cavani is better

Mata I think will head to Eastlands of anywhere.
Ribery I just think is one of the most overrated players going, only Ibrahimović is above him on that level.
Modric is one I can see Chelsea going for, easy move across the capital, already settled here etc.
I think a lot of it though will come down to who they get as manager, whoever it is will probably bring in guys they know already.
