So in 2 moves, Ganso has amassed a potential £108m in transfer fees.
Correct me if I'm wrong...but the lad hasn't made his furious league debut yet either, has he?

Ilicic > Ganso

Not a lot of Ganso love on here is there!
From what I read (mostly by Tim Vickery) he is a talented lad. But then when I see his transfer value touted at £15m I do scratch my head as to how he has been involved in two moves for around £50m...

I suppose I will be the test case as my Lazio side will face up, quivering and literally wetting themselves, to the mighty Ganso.
Yes, ganso is spanish for duck.

Look Ganso is not a bad player - you don't get a Brazil call-up by being bad, but there are many others in the league as good or better. I certainly wouldn't be worried about playing a team with Ganso in it.
On something someone posted up yesterday, it referred to Kleberson being this great Brazilian when he joined United.
I also remember Denilson (this one http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Den%C3%ADlson_de_Oliveira_Ara%C3%BAjo) joining Real Betis.
I would put Ganso in this category.

Not quite the same as the all Brazilian team, but I have got more Argentines in my Everton side than Englishmen!

Not a good start Viva. This forum should be encouraging debate about sport and a players ability falls into that. As long as there is not anything defammatory or abusive, it should be viewed as a positive thing

As Ganso's basically dumped Arsenal for Spurs, is he the polar opposite of Sol Campbell?

Sadly true. It's on our official site.
Oh well, I'll reserve judgement until he has played for us for a little bit. Moyes is normally pretty good in the market

As I said last night, it can't be a that bad a deal. Yes, he wasn't a regular at MU, but he had PL experience, he is young and wants to prove a point. Plus I bet they have snapped him up for less than the 4M I paid.
How did you feel Afro when Everton signed Phil Neville? Hadn't really set the world alight by then. He hasn't done that bad for you since.

I wasn't disappointed when we signed Neville as I had seen plenty in him to see what he could bring us.
Gibson, as far as I have seen so far, doesn't do a great deal apart from shoot whenever he sees the goal. Granted we need goals, so that is no entirely negative, but we need a creative CM who can create chances too
