Clermont v Ulster .. the build up begins
First topic message reminder :
Firstly a TV update for those like me with BT Vision or NTL.
The game is now the main event and no longer on the Red button so you can watch from the comfort of your own home
As to team selection only two decisions.
If Cave is injured we can play Whitten at 13, Terblanche at 13 with D'Arcy at 15, Spence returns
I list them in order of probability. I would expect Whitten to start and Spence to go to the bench.
The other decision is if McAllister is fit is it him or Black on the bench.

Re: Clermont v Ulster .. the build up begins
Ulster haven't won in France because they haven't had a team of this quality before. Ulster have already beaten Clermont this season when they weren't playing well and with some iffy selections - now they are playing much better.
This game is the perfect time for Ulster to win in France as they know exactly what they have to do and they also top the group so they are in pole position - time to break the hoodoo.

Completely agree aukster. Clermont have to get beat at home at some point. May as well be by us.

Ulster have the quality...its about the mentality and getting the gameplan right and maintaining focus and discipline for 80 min.
Playing the likes of Clermont is where we want to be and it doesn't get much better, we didn't sign the like of Pienaar and Afoa to play in the Amlin. If we want to be the best then we have to beat the best.
SUFTUM!!

I don't think we have had the pack to compete previously. We do this season.

From the Ravens team it looks like the expected 23 with Diack and Danielli going as well as additional cover just in case of injury.

It's out Kingshu,
Whitten in for the injured Cave with Spence on the bench.
Only other change is Andy Kyriacou on the bench instead of Brady!
