Did you see Montpellier vs. Stade the other day? Insane try from the 22 drop out for Montpellier.

Trinder, narraway, wood, flood, lawes and tuilagi all to remains with clubs this week.

Banahan and Waldrom called up.

Reckon that means that Deacon is fit? That would be useful.

Montpellier gave them a fair battering to be honest. FTD looked back to his best.

The try is on here, Stade miss a penalty and Montpellier go from end to end to score...

Timoci Nagusa. Fijian international, used to play for Ulster. Got mad skills, but not one you want in the trenches when it's windy and snowing and blowing a gale your faces.

Stuffed them mate , Hodgson is a class act. A few lads i know went up and apparently the forwards give 200% and they seemed to want it more. Rock solid in defense apparently.

Looked a pretty decent side Steve, very surprised with result.

Seen some comments from Gold and Ford and they were shocked at the lack of direction (we weren't). Could be a top combo for us if we stay up.

Saints scrum dominated most of that game Driver, Waller had a good game. When you look it was Waller/Sharman/Mercey against 3 International front rowers it was an excellent showing from the Saints boys

Wasps will be ok, if we get our injured players back - sadly we've gone from losing by just 1 or 2 points, which we were doing up until early December to getting smashed - we've got a lot more quality than Newcastle, but we are a 60minute team. Too many injured to compete, have never known a club hit with so many injuries like this.

good to see Joel Tomkins start off with two tries - reading the reports and he was exceptional for Sarries - he wants to play for England, but maybe his only chance there would be if he was converted to a 12?

"we've got a lot more quality than Newcastle"

I wouldn't say that, if anything we possibly shade the pack. You might have more names in the backline but hardly a lot more quality.

Newcastle are dire Pooly - Wasps have got a lot more all over the pitch, think the only reason we arent higher is that our goal kicking has been woeful, whilst Gopperth is a top class kicker.

Our trouble is that we have a small squad and have far too many players out injured. When we get them back we should be safe and would imagine that Worcester will be more likely to go down and be dragged into the relegation scrap.

I'm not convinved with Dae Young as a coach though - but at least he's made some good signings, like the Russian duo and the two wings will be very handy with Wade and Varndell out for three months!

That's a very arrogant attitude Chris.

"Wasps have alot more quality"

"Falcons are dire"

Table doesn't lie mate, Wasps are the second worst club in the prem and are on the decline if anything. A couple of wins for Falcons and Wasps are going down.

I'd agree on paper Wasps have a better squad but I'd only take Wentzal & Poff from your pack. I'd prefer Gopperth at flyhalf in a dog fight too.

How on earth is that arrogant Pooly? Seriously.

Wasps have more internationals, better players so I think its ok to say that Wasps have a better team.

Look at how many injuries we;ve had - no team could cope with that and the reason we are down so low is because we have player after player get injured - we've had 4 first teamers retire this season, we've lost our best and most influential players for months at a time and the last month we only had one lineout jumper and a second rower playing at no8.

Last game we had 3/4 no9s in the match day 23 and havent had an 'a' team game in about 6 weeks as we havent got enough players. When we started the season we were looking very good and then injuries hit. Has been impossible to compete when you only have 22 fit players in a squad

battering irish is not exactly a massive achievement.

our lack of a good tighthead is killing us. corbisiero and paice are good but faan and ion are average. we need a real destructive tighthead.

'There were any number of England locks of note on view, with Kearnan Myall impressing even more than the two starters. If you add the coolness of young Ben Spencer at scrum-half and the exuberance of Matt Hopper and authority of Billy Twelvetrees in midfield, you have good news all the way.'

Stephen Jones quote about the Saxons game.

What was he watching?!?! how was Myall better than Robson or Garvey. Hopper was poor I thought and 12T quiet.

12T stopped all the backs moves, his passing was very bad and positional play was of someone who has barely played at 12 for his club. Could tell. Trouble is those bits combined made the England backline very stagnant and no one from 13 out could do anything really.

Didn't Jones also say that Armitage had a good game? Its hard to judge players on one performance like that, its a shame there isnt a 6Nations 'B' team competition.

"with Saull's dominance in the tackle area and breakdown, Spencer was blessed with quick ball all game"

Chris, I'm not calling you arrogant. I think that's an arrogant attitude to have for a supporter of a club second bottom. Falcons are not a good side, Wasps are not a good side. No excuses, they are both not good sides.

Going to be a close one then with players being made back available for clubs then. Hopefully will have Lydiate available!

Looking forward to seeing what team Lancaster picks, hopefully we will go back to playing a game that sees us keep the ball in the forwards and get us on the backfoot through the rolling maul - then quick attacks through our backline. Seemed to be what the Saxons were attempting to do.

terrible performance, apart from a few of the youngsters (JJ, Yarde, Lahiff, Sisi). JJ's turn of pace is incredible.

Imagine Allinson will be cited for his uppercut on that Scarlets forward. Not what we need.
