Are the results not up yet? I can tell you what happened from memory if you like. I'd recommend watching it instead though

I have it recorded, and I usually watch it in bits during the week while I have my breakfast
If you wouldn't mind giving me the brief highlights. Nothing too detailed. That way I can x30 the bits I don't need to watch

Re: WWA Pre Season 2 Homepage
RAW
- Spoiler:
- Start with John Laurinaitis saying how he's confident he will not be fired tonight. Then he announces the Raw Elimination Chamber match - Punk, Jericho, Kingston, Truth, Miz and Ziggler. CM Punk interrupts and sings "Na Na Na Na, Hey Hey Hey Goodbye" at him, and generally buries him as he is often given the license to do. Daniel Bryan interrupts and they have a little argument over being role models, veganism vs straight edge etc. Laurinaitis makes a Champion vs Champion match. Sheamus comes out and says he won the Rumble.
Orton beat Ziggler with Barrett watching and commentating from a sky box.
Punk and Bryan had a good match until Jericho ran in and attacked Punk.
Kofi Kingston beat The Miz with R Truth on quite humorous commentary
Laurinaitis walks around being generally friendly with everyone. Otunga tells him everything has been sorted so he won't be Future Endeavoured tonight.
Brodus Clay squashed Tyler Reks
Beth Phoenix beat Eve in a Women's Title match. Then Kane appeared on the screen, saying Cena still hasn't embraced the hate, so he will continue to hurt Zack Ryder until he does so. And he'll hurt Zack Ryder through Eve. Then Kane is in the ring standing over Eve - prompting Cena to come out. Cena trashes Kane with the steps and is very agressive. The fans are crazy for Cena in this segment.
Laurinaitis is out again talking about his appraisal. Triple H comes out, says John has let personal issues get in the way of his decision making, and used his position to make himself a star - and that was wrong. JL says he'd do anything to keep his job. Trips makes him apologies to the fans, then threatens to make him join the "kiss my ass club". Then Trips says he's been told he can take over Raw whenever he wants, and he's about to fire Laurinitis when Undertaker's gong goes off.
Taker comes to the ring, stares off with Trips then looks up to the Wrestlemania sign (exactly the same as last year). But Triple H doesn't look up at it. Instead he pats Taker on the shoulder as if to reject him as Raw closes.

So, at last, Jericho has a point in returning.
Good Raw it looks like.
Did my last TP........Earthquake. A good one I think.

That's a great TP.
Are you going to try and get Typhoon at some stage too?
The Jericho bit was quite good because the commentators and Punk really sold the confusion at what Jericho had to do with anything. And once again he just did his thing and walked off without speaking

Used to really like Earthquake back in the day and the Natural Disasters were a great tag team, Earthquake though never should have turned heel, just never suited him.
Re: WWA Pre Season 2 Homepage
Maybe he is trying to get across that the crowd is beneath him. Punk is teh voice of the voiceless...Jericho doesn't give a damn about the voice or the voiceless.
Or something like that.
I probably won't go for Tugboat/Typhoon, but I will keep it in mind. I wanted Earthquake for two reasons.
1) If Abyss/Vader is injured, he takes the big man role that I need for my first week storyline.
2) I fancy a storyline with him going against Vader. Same size, same strength, rival feds (I class Vader as having his peak in WCW). Fantasy booking really.

I saw him at the Woodville Halls in Gravesend, about 3-4 years before he died. He was taking part in one of the smaller british feds. He was massive, going bald, but still athletic. The sweat that poured off him was immense. Worked up the crowd a treat.
Where have all the good big men wrestlers gone? Vader and Earthquake were schooled in wrestling and other sports., and it showed. I think the last good big man was Hugh Morris. Big Show, Great Khali, Henry....all pee poor in my view.

Henry has been brilliant this year, and shown himself to be criminally underused for the last 10 - he's suffering from overexposure due to Smackdown's poor main event scene at the moment though IMO.

Re: WWA Pre Season 2 Homepage
My fave three were Earthquake, Vader and Bam Bam.
All three always gave off the impression that they genuinely wanted to inflict pain on their opponent.
I think that's why I get so annoyed with the Brodus Clay 'Funkasaurus' gimmick, I want him destroying face jobbers and giving kids nightmares.

I can't wait to see Kharma up and running.
I think that may have been my favourite part of the Rumble match - and the reaction for her was excellent. Chyna always looked a bit like her opponents were letting her beat them, whereas when Kharma dumped Ziggler it looked totally credible

Henry is rather like Louis Saha. Brilliant on his day but you are always waiting for his next injury and botch/non-existant game. Plus he is just too one-dimensional.
Bam Bam is a great shout. I think someone has already got him TP wise. He was vastly under-used in both WCW and WWF.

I think I'm going to start with a Mark Henry vs Ken Shamrock feud - based around Henry's ankle breaking using chairs and Shamrock's obvious use of the ankle lock.

Lol, big time deja vu.
My first week match of Vader v Angle, follows those exact same lines and using the exact same finishing move!

I had Daniel Bryan & Kurt Angle going ankle lock crazy on one another in the 1st season.
Re: WWA Pre Season 2 Homepage
It'll be a good comparison to see who does it better then. Although I'm already at a disadvantage as Henry and Shamrock is such a low-rent version of Vader and Angle

No, I rate Shamrock, so it isn't bad at all. You should have tried to get Lesnar though. Have those go at each other at a MMA/Wrestling main event

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh I see. Kuma/Kama........it is all a mystery to me.
MMA style fed has a lot of potential.
Angle v Lesner v Bryan v Shamrock in a Fatal 4-Way. Then during the match they all put each other in Ankle Locks.
It would be like a game of Twister going horribly wrong.

I agree with Mac though.....Funkasaurus will soon tire. He should have been the monster heel first, then do the comedy when the obvious face turn comes.
He has had 3 weeks of squash matches. Even with this new gimmick, creative aren't giving him anything!

Re: WWA Pre Season 2 Homepage
I was tired with it the very first time but I could see the novelty value etc of the gimmick, it's become a one trick pony now though.
To me I find it ironic that the IWC moan about the PG level of the WWE nowadays yet here's a guy that could have been an intense steamroller, WWE's equivilant of when Samoa Joe joined TNA and went on the streak yet he's stood in the centre of the ring doing dinosaur dances.

The thing is, Brodus Clay isn't as good as Samoa Joe, he's not a spectacular big man. I am sick of seeing people like The Great Khali steamroller loads of guys only to be beaten by the top face and fall down the pecking order quickly. At least Brodus Clay's gimmick is a bit different.
However if he continues to just be in squash matches every show, then he will get boring and fast.

What most people don't realise is that Brodus Clay is actually an excellent wrestler, He's like Tazz except larger many many suplex variations that he can pull off. It's suprising to think he's lost over 100lbs

That's my point on them running with a decent Joe style run with him as I reckon he could pull it off.
