I think I will vote for KB as my manager of the season, the way he presents his voting is world class, the teams are placed in the right position, clear to see who the scorers are and the description are as if Shakespeare is possesing his soul. Good job mate, you will be rewarded by the top dogs of 606v2.

I found it easy mate. It's nice to be able to bullet point stuff. I'll get mine up at lunchtime if you're posting today.
Cheers, Viva!

Benfica 1 - 4 Lyon
Arsenal 2 - 2 Villarreal
PSG 1 - 2 Liverpool
Playing 3 at the back works if you have 2 proper wing backs but Krasic and Willian aren't defensively minded and the midfield is far too attack minded for them to protect the frail back 3. Lyon take this quite convincingly.
comfortable victory for lyon, with helguson and nilmar partnership not working at all for benfica.
Benfica are let down by a too attacking formation. Bastos and Frei don’t have to worry about tracking back as there are no fullbacks to worry them on the counter attack. Krasic and Willian are not defensively minded enough to help the three centrebacks, so Emerson and Danilo have to split apart from Luisao to provide cover on the left and right. This opens up space Jovetic to exploit. In contrast, when Benfica attack, Lyon are solid enough to deal with the pressure.
Benfica were very attacking, they played without wingbacks and the DM were instructed to push forward which left a gap between the defence and midfield. Lyon picked them off with Biglias range of passing, Frei cutting in gave Boswinga the room and with only 3 defenders there was a big gap for Boswinga to lash it.
Another game with a real lack of space in the middle, but it was swung Lyon’s way as they targetted the flanks and particularly on the right Bosingwa and Frei, they enjoyed too much space. Benfica would have gotten away with 3 at the back had the two DMs sat deeper, but they were instructed to sit further forward meaning the right and left defenders had to play more narrow.
Benfica- Im beggining to see the makings of a good team this week, has perhaps come early to play a good team like lyon though who are now used to playing as a team, put up a good fight though
Lyon- Seeing the benefits of having a relativly settled team, well written again and a strong line up once again
Great open game, Jovetic a big threat for Lyon scoring the opener. Helguson being a unit upfront unsettled the Lyon defence and his header set up Nilmar for the equaliser. But Lyon were set up better I feel, Frei and Bastos able to penetrate from out wide as Krasic and Willian are very attack minded as wing backs (or at least in a wing back role), and Demba Cisse scores the winner
Strange set up for Benfica going with 3 at the back. I think they will be exposed by Lyon's wingers with Bastos nicking the goal.
Benfica are ravaged at the back and a new formation will take time to get used to. Direct football can be effective but Barzaghli is a big defender and he can handle Helguson. Lyon have very good attacking midfield players and can cause enough problems to get the goals and hold out.
Benfica tried a new formation and it worked early on but Lyons firepower up front was too much for them too handle.
3 at the back will not work against a team with lyons attack, bastos has unbelievable success down the left flank and gets himself two. However the 5 man midfield have some success in setting up 2 goals, one for ach striker
Benfica ravaged by injuries to their defence, but that's the risk taken with a small squad. With 3 at the back they were far too adventurous and they paid the price.
Arsenal 2 - 2 Villarreal
A battle of midfields really, with Arsenal shading it due to more effective wingers in Cazorla and Hazard. Motta and Pirlo can soak up the pressure but the full backs will eventually come undone.
arsenal have too much class for villarel
Disappointing length on Arsenal’s tactics this week. Soldado does get isolated, as Kuyt tries to stop Hazard doing a lot of damage to the fullback and Sagna being a match for Giovinco. Motta has his hands full trying to stop Cazola and Hazard coming inside and Suarez hovering between midfield and defence. Suarez does the most damage on this occasion with that slightly deeper role.
A game Arsenal could have won if thier tactics had more depth in them, Vilareal did well to contain them and had a lot of the ball with Motta sitting back and Pirlo dictating the tempo. Majority of the game Suarez struggled to impose himself with the midfield stopping him.
Better showing from Arsenal this week, with players in more natural positions. Felt last week their tactics showed a little more depth, whereas this week they seem a bit thin. However, there was enough in there to earn them the win.
Arsenal- good team but tactics are a bit light on detail
Villareal- better set of tactics this week very detailed, easy to read, nice attacking set up, right times for bringing on subs
Villareal had much better tactics than Arsenal, Arsenal showing you can't always rely on Hazard and Cazorla, definite complacency shown. Soldado with the only goal.
Excellent tactics from Villareal, a bit sketchy from Arsenal but I think they're good enough to get them something out of the game. 2 goals each in a good game.
Arsenal are stifled by Villareal's defensive tactics and Pirlo, Motta and Fernandez will be able to get a foothold over Moutinho and Song, without Suarez really assisting much.
Villareal were holding their own with their superior tactics so a draw was a fair result.
Song does a great job in cutting out solado and the quality of arsenals attack get them two goalsresulting in a 2-0 win
Excellent tactics from Villarreal and they played to their strengths whilst Arsenals were too brief in explanation.
PSG 1 - 2 Liverpool
Close game here but PSG's set up is too negative in the midfield to provide support to a weak attack. Liverpool would dominate going forward and only the crowd of bodies would keep the scoreline down.
Liverpool dominate PSG with so much class packed in their side
PSG’s tactics of three defensively minded midfielders works extremely well. However it does mean that the midfield is overly crowded. In this instance, Liverpool do have the wide players to break away on rare occasions, even when the fullbacks try and force them on the inside. In a tightly fought contest, a break away chance by Walcott scores the only goal.
PSG tried to play on the counter but Liverpool dealt well with it having M'Vila always there to slow them down. They flooded the midfield and contained the Liverpool midfield for some time but later on the game Marchisio pushed forward to break and scored.
PSG set-up to stifle Liverpool and it worked well, with little room for any flair players to operate in. Liverpool had a lot of possession, but just could break down a very physical PSG team. Both teams had good, well written tactics.
PSG- Tactics could do with a bit more detail, but line up is good as are the subs who are used to great effect
Liverpool- Another good line up which focus' on the right and left side of the PSG of defence, well written tactics
Very tight game as both sides cancel each other out, showing why they are so highly rated. Kerzhakov with the opener for Liverpool, Derdioyk with the late equaliser for PSG
Seems to be a very negative set up by PSG which leaves them lacking up front but perfectly set up at the back to stop a Liverpool team that is missing Suarez up front.
PSG all wrong and too narrow I think, Liverpool's wingers get too much space and with the full backs also advised to go forward, PSG can't adapt or hit them on the break.
I feel that Liverpool had the better tactics and psg played too defensively.
Dms make them impossible to break down but with this come no attacking threat and it ends in a 0-0
PSG set out their stall and went ahead both times during periods of pressure from Liverpool due to two coutner attacks, Liverpool through quality plays get replies but can't quite get the winner

Malaga v Tottenham
Malaga have centre backs playing full back roles, the unnatural positions and the fact that they have been told to stay tight makes it easy for the wingers to play round them, causing malaga problems
Steven Taylor is the weak link in an otherise good Malaga team. He's not a RB and is easily beaten by the pace of the Spurs winger who sets up an Adebayor brace. Spurs don't have the best defence ever so I can see Malaga nicking a consolation.
Entertaining game based on both sides's attacking formations, Malaga having too much for Spurs in the end.
Malaga- 4-1-4-1 formation played, lots of defensive work from the team but have a good attacking bite aswell, making the game hard for spurs
Tottenham- Not as Described in details for tactics, naughton has a tough time on the right of defence but the centre backs make it up.
Two evenly matched sides with some good players over the park, i think Malaga boss the game in parts until the intervention of Heskey in the last 5 minutes and he muscles his way in to bundle home the equaliser.
Spurs young midfiled found it hard to compete against the 3 man mid of Malaga and at times were totally over run
Tottenham nick it in the last 10 minutes, valiant display from malaga
Fiorentina v Lazio
Lazio set up well defensively and manage to contain Fiorentina well and get draw
Very impressed with sodhat's team instructions and I think he has the tactics spot on. A goal apiece in a decent game.
Lazio were set up very well and even took the lead with a goal from Ben Arfa, but the pressure from Fiorentina was eventually enough for Cardozo to equalize. Not a good enough change of tactics for Fiorentina to force the win.
Fiorentina- A few big injuries this week, but the depth of the squad means they are able to fill these gaps well. well written tactics and good subs made. Lazio- Flat 4-4-2, Well Written Tactics, lots of attacking to be done as well as good defensive displays all over the pitch, right times to bring on subs as well
Wilshere and Fernando to easily dominate possesion in the park, bringing the wingers in to play creating chances for classy strike force. I think the game opens up after 75 mins with the game poised at 1-0 and the last 15 minutes produces goals as the Fiorentina bank of 5 cuts through Lazio.
Like for like and tough to call, but home advantage saw Fiorentina through this one
fiorentina stroll to a comfortable victory with too much attacking flair for lazio
Atletico v Porto
Porto sneak this one
hero gets his tactics bang on. It's a superb Porto team that has very few weaknesses. I can see they're pace up front exploiting Mertesacker's lack of pace leading to a few goals. Lennon will score one for Atletico though, showing that Porto are weaker at the back than they are up front.
The shortage of defensive midfielders has hurt Atletico, leaving them unable to stop the threats of Hulk, Pastore and Bale
Atletico- Not as detailed tactics as portos but a similar strength of team who make it a hard game for porto, subs also come on at good time to have a chance to effect the game. Porto- Strong line up, good detail in tactics, everyone knows what to do and put in a good performance, well thought out subs
Porto exploit the defensive weaknesses of this madrid side perfectly with both Bale and Hulk terrorising the full backs. Key mistake for Madrid is playing Isla at left back. Not his preferred position, he's a centre/right midfielder and putting him next to a tree in Mertesacker isn't going to help. Madrid should've compensated better at the back as this heavy defeat could be the first of many.
Signs of Atletico getting better and being able to compete eith the bigger clubs, a late goal from Pastore saw Porto get all 3 points however.
porto cruise too victory and have too much class.

I realise that, but if you have a good midfield setting up strikers then its better to have a prolific striker rather than a neam like Suarez who really hasnt done much since his move to Liverpool

Well done Cherries anyway. But to have Heskey, who let's be honest is a joke, scoring against me is a tough to take. That is when he come on in the last 10 mins! And as for the RB/LB problems, all I can do is and shrug it off.

I realise that, but if you have a good midfield setting up strikers then its better to have a prolific striker rather than a neam like Suarez who really hasnt done much since his move to Liverpool
Prolific like 6 goals in 3 games Falcao?
yes exactly
Suarez is a good player but I couldnt knock back 50m for him, dont think anyone would have, it is difficult to get a world class player, lets face it we arent gonna add to theplayers that are already in the league..
Kerzhakov will be my No.9 for all of this season - I like him alot

Which of the following is the better deal if you were the club who owned Suarez:
Kjaer, Ramsey, Podolski, Marin, Alex, Stkleburg for Suarez
or
£50m for Suarez

Depends on what you intend to buy with the £50m.
Alexandr Kerzhakov, Diego Perotti, Claudio Marchisio and 4m change is certainly a good exchange!
But that list mentioned I certainly think is better.

Disappointing.
Especially after he paid £50,000 for this place.

like said I used Suarez mostly as an AM, Perotti > Suarez as a winger, Suarez no way worth £50m
If I could have signed Cavani, or someone like him I would have but its near impossible so happy with what I bought with the money I got for him

Not for the Euro games, but from the team you've picked for the Euro games there's the risk another one from them is then injured for the league game on Friday.

Possibly. As well as the 11 you pick there's 4 'no injuries' in the draw. Last week you got lucky and got a 'no injury'.

Especially on this vote:
PSG 0 - 3 Liverpool Kerzhakov (3)
What is with this vote? No issues on losing but most results and feedback say it wss close. Excrpt this one
