Knowing Viva's "tendencies" in his spare time, surely that should be the other way around

Over zealous modding, that is going to be the signature of Viva's work.
I'm not sure anything libelous was written, just an inference, so I think Viva could have been upset from a personal perspective, but not from a mod one.

Well I meant what I said. If the red pen keeps coming out, then I am off. You can tell people to calm down and lay off without turning to the "red crayon in the playbox". That is copyrighted to me by the way.

Viva - you know as well as anyone that the banter is what makes this league work and separates it from the dross on LSTD style leagues.
I think you need to keep your mod hat well and truly locked away until it is really needed, otherwise there is the risk that it will ruin the league and managers will leave.

Re: Furious Football Association © : HomePage Season 2, Page 16

You probably like the referees who are quiet and let the game flow within the rules, and hate the ones who are frivalously blowing their whistle and making the game more about them than the content. That is the same for mods.

Guys though cut Viva some slack, he know's now that the red pen is a last resort and that modding is something to be done only when absolutely neccessary.

Now Andy Carroll is out of the Furious Football Association, (sold him to Lawyers and bought Derdiyok with the money) something tells me that he'll start scoring hat-tricks on a weekly basis starting tonight
