Was the game vs Biarritz the worst ever Ospreys performance?
Worst Ospreys performance ever?
Since the likes of Henson, Byrne, Hook, Phillips, Collins and Holah left the Ospreys, there wasn't much talk of the region suffering or having a very bad season because it had lost it's best players. Yesterday the gaping hole of experience and quality was evident to see. One lucky try from a forward makes sense when you lose your best, 9, 10, 12 and 15 let alone some key forwards.
The future of the club will be better without these high paid prima donnas, but for the moment the Ospreys can kiss goodbye to getting near any silverwear. It would not surprise me if theY drop out of the top 4 in the Rabo12 by the end of the season. With clubs like Ulster and Edinburgh hitting excellent form, the Ospreys have a long way to go to securing a play off spot in the league.
By far the worst performance since the regions inception in late 2003.
The Ospreys have had great results over the years, but have lacked the mental toughness or winning pedigree that is needed to go all the way. This can only be down to a coaching/management problem. Cuddy is the main problem because he is the only one who has faith in coaches who have never been able to bring out the best in players who were already talented. They all need to go.

Re: Worst Ospreys performance ever?
I watched a bit of it and it seemed to me they Ospreys were clueless against a largely offside blitz defence, whereas when they tried to press up themselves they were found wanting. Biaritz were lying so deep the Ospreys would have them covered every time on the drift defence, yet when the Ospreys had the ball they were far too flat. Biggar should have stood a yard or two deeper and kicked the leather off the ball. The Ospreys were more than a match for them up front. Forget this kicking in field nonsense, they should have gone for touch. Coaches my harse!

Treviso away, Dragons away every year, Sarries at home and Munster away in the QF of the HC where they were hammered. The Ospreys very rarely win away from home in the HC, one once in France.

They were pretty dreadful when a one legged Richard Hill done a number over them in the QF's a few years back.
