Is Nadal getting a bit out of control?
Who has seen the match yesterday may have notice how the Nadal's bizarre on court behaviour is reaching to a brand new intensity level.
What was formerly an overdone fistpumping, a self-motivating body language and a crowd's favour gathering gesture, yesterday became a radical transformation in another human being: Nadhulk.
Can anybody explain to this guy that he is afterall still playing tennis and not taking part to the Wrestling World championship in Las Vegas??

Could be worse, he could be swearing at the umpire on live tv.

I would say that Nadal acknowledged his 'get out of jail' free card. It was like watching Foreman v Ali. Nadal was on the ropes and once Berdych punched himself out, he was picked off.

Nope seemed ok to me. I think you are being overly sensitive. Or possibly a WUM but that's an accusation I'd rather make on better evidence

So, do you think Nadal's behaviour is perfect example of tennis etiquette?
I think Luv is right; you should post before rather than after the pub.

JK
I wouldn't worry about it there's an umpire there to enforce the rules and the authorities to fine him afterwards, like before:-

Have to agree Nadal was a bit over the top with his fist pumps and yells. It would annoy me as an opponent but I do enjoy watching it to a certain extent as a fan.

I find it great to watch, pity its always usually after a point his opponent should have won but threw away. Nevertheless the more over the top the better, I wish he did it more then I'd make more of an effort to watch him and maybe even support him.

Soc: I know, it might be spectacular in a sort of way..... I just wander whether Nadal's on court gestures are consistent with the idea of tennis as a genlemen's game, just that........

I would say the time wasting and questionable MTOs were more at odds with that. The rest is just his self expression which is fine. Saying that he seemed to play at a reasonable speed against Berdych.
