Does going "pro" mean more Armitage moments?
Going professional has led to the bar being lowered in our game.In the past a "wrong-un" would have been ejected from a club however effective a player he might have been.Dross like Armitage/Andy Powell/Brennan etc would have had no chance of climbing the greasey pole.
Our game is aping footie and I find it pretty sad.
That Ashton fella with his smug diving sticks in my craw.Nasty and unpleasant.
Modern Rugby-I confess that I can take it or leave it.
The values that I held high seem to have been sold off with the silver.
Bit of a shame really as Rugby was a pretty fine game.
