Boxing legend and pop culture icon "Iron" Mike Tyson will be inducted into the WWE's 2012 Hall of Fame class on March 31 in Miami, WWE announced to major media markets throughout the nation Monday. Among the most decorated pugilists in history, Tyson established his place in WWE lore in 1998 when he served as a special "outside enforcer" for the WWE Championship main event of WrestleMania XIV between Shawn Michaels and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

As celebrity inductees go I think its a good choice, played a significant role in a world title angle and helped make the attitude era more mainstream. Plus been a guest host as well (plus according to JR he is a genuine wrestling fan)

People just need to always remember that these celebrity inductions are a publicity stunt and to be taken with a pinch of salt

I agree, as a celebrity inductee he is probably the best it'll get. Certainly better than Drew Carey and Pete Rose!

Pete Rose appeared at three Wrestlemania's. He's probably the most deserving inductee into the celebrity wing of WWE Hall of Fame. AGrre with you on Drew Carey, what a waste on an inductee.
