hmmm, I guessed that would be the favoured as a lot of people play that formation. I just prefer 2 strikers rather than 2 DCM

Twist, I want Garcia too, but being honest number 4 is the best option.
YI could sell you Garcia and buy a different DM in TP's though.

Villareal can exploit lack of numbers for Benfica, and Melo is left with much of the work against three Villareal men.
Thats why its bugging me

Horses for Courses.
You'd play that formation against a side who plays with 1 or 2 AM's, but if they play 3 AM's you second guess them and play 4-2-3-1 instead of 4-1-3-2. It's what the whole game is about, outsmarting the opposition manager with tactics (or at least trying to)

HERO LEAGUE RESULTS
A.Madrid 2-1 Tottenham
Cisse x2 - Ganso
Porto 3-3 Fiorentina
Hulk x2, Gerrard - RVP x2, VDV
Lazio 2-1 Malaga
Zarate x2 - Barrios
Re: Furious Football Association © : HomePage Season 2, Page 18
Atletico v Tottenham
Madrid relying on wingers to cross ball for attacks, but Lennon can not cross for toffee. Spurs sneak the winner on 80mins.
Difficult one to call but when nadz changed to the 3-5-2 formation I think it worked and allowed Atletico to have more firepower up front. They came from behind to win 2-1.
Atletico are instructing players not even on the pitch in Diego,
Atletico- good 11, Tactics are good although short of a little detail. Subs are good. Spurs- Good team, still not sure about playing Naughton against very good teams like that are in the league (although he has proved himself in RL in the prem this season). Good set of tactics. Subs are good but not sure on the use of Hoof ball.
too many changes made in the tottenham side and the players are struggling to gel
Both teams lined up well but Spurs's defensive approach stopped Atletico performing to the best of their abilities, a good draw for Spurs.
Atleticos midfield were solid against the Brazilian trio and a little lack of experience at FB caught Spurs out
Think both were quite similar attacking down the flanks. Atletico wingers were quite happy being our wide, they were told to whip crosses ina nd did so, Cisse got on one and made it count. Spurs depending on midfield and Ganso bit too much I think.
Porto v Fiorentina
Both teams cancel eachother out, not much more I can add!
Both teams offer shed loads of attacking talent but because Porto have an ever so slightly better defence, I'll say a high scoring 3-2 home win, although it was very difficult to call and I was about 55/45 between a Porto win and a draw.
Great tactics by both teams, each team appear to have scouted the other well
Porto- good team talk to start things off with. Starting 11 is very strong, Im liking it more and more each week. the use of some quick players is a great idea. Tactics are very well written and easy to read. great use of subs.
Fiorentina- Good Starting 11, however playing RVP up top on his own is a bit of a risk, I would like to see him have someone beside him who is able to get the ball down and play it. Good Well Writen tactics which. Good subs to be able to bring on also.
absoutely fantastic game. End to end stuff, and fiorentina nick it with a couple of mins left.
mouthwatering clash, both teams playing their strongest side and big names and both playing a 4-2-3-1 formation. I feel M'Bia and Wilshere were under pressure throughout from Bale, Gerrard and Reus but did their jobs very well, Porto playing Fellaini and De Rossi as CM/DM's was a risky tactic though as neither is a natural DM, and this allowed Fiorentina to pick them off on the counter attack with Farfan and Van Der Vaart benefitting.
A fantastic match with two very good teams on show, I couldnt seperate them
Porto "whilst Fiorentina will be expecting the main threat to come down the flanks I want the wingers to instead drift inside" just for me pick out thier main threat but then did not deal with it. Vargas, Farfan had space on the flanks to then go on and attack the Porto fullbacks. Fellaini did great in dealing with VDV, but Porto were let down by not addressing on the pitch what there manager highlighted. Fiorentina had set up to cover the problems that could be caused by Reus & Bale which worked to good effect.
Lazio v Malaga
Both set out very defensively but Malaga take the win in the 2nd half when they change to 4-4-2
Two well set up teams, I think Lazio are better in midfield and Malaga are better at the back. The introduction of Barrios is crucial as Bendtner isn't good enough to do enough damage on his own up front.
Lazio play 451 with 2 wingers, malaga set up to stay compact and play zonal this is where the game is won for lazio
Quoted from tactics - A compact defense, not geared for attack. I doubt Lazio will try and attack the fullbacks with Pepe not playing, so balls will be coming through the middle. Agger and Alderweirweld to stick close to Dawson and Samba.
Lazio- lazio have a good team and formation in use. Tactics are good but could prehaps use a bit more detail. Subs also used well and at right times to make an impression on the game.
Malaga- Good Formation and starting 11. Well written Tactics, lots of good detail. Subs Made at right times that dont upset the current rhythem of the team too much.
tight game but hard to see Malaga scoring goals.
Both teams were solid with a 4-5-1, although I didn't understand Bendtner playing ahead of Barrios for Malaga. Very cliche but both teams stopped each other from playing and a draw was the outcome.
Two solid teams but Malaga couldnt break down Lazios strong defense
Tricky. Bit of a bore, dont think long balls from Malaga worked. Lazio had more bite, attacked with more conviction.
