This is my transitional season at Everton as I had two defeats in the last two games of Season 1 (against the top two in the league), but i've started at the bottom and i'm going for Europe! You could always spend the next few days building a solid side rather than offering silly money for big names.

Well done Sodhat
Where the fudge did I ever mention "long balls" in my tactics though
Tricky. Bit of a bore, dont think long balls from Malaga worked. Lazio had more bite, attacked with more conviction.

There's Navas and Willian, there's the money you spent on Ganso, and my personal opinion is that if you spent that money on some top drawer full backs and another centre back (not necessarily big names at big clubs), then you have a better chance in your matches.

Go for a team of XI good players, rather than 1 or 2 worldies, who you will struggle to attract.

Tough luck cherries. I was a whiskers away from choosing Adrian over Cisse. If I did I prob would have lost. 3.5M seems a bargain now. Last season A Madrid didn't win a single point all season because of previous managers not submitting tactics and now so far I've got 4 points from four games. Improvement or what!

My feedback, your tactics were much better written, but just would never have given you the win.
You essentially played two ball winners in midfielders and used your wingers as an outlet. Balls coming in from wide for Huntelaar and Gilardino against two taller centre backs. I gave you a loss, when you would have got a win had you made better use of your strikers.

It is not poison. It is "Downing.......16M" next to a universal smilie used on many forums that can be taken for "shocked" or "having a branch stuck up your backside"
It could be "Wow, what a deal!" or "Wow what a deal?!"

Just trying to offer some constructive criticism. I think your team has improved massively and your tactics are better. Just need to make better use of your players abilities.

Juventus 0-2 Schalke
Juventus are lacking up front, with Lopez missing and Huntelaar being man-marked. Also Boruc is a weak link in the side. A long range effort from Witsel gets the goal.
Schalkes extra man in midfield allowed them to dictate play both defensivley and attacking, Juventus couldnt get the ball to there front two.
plenty of Juventus possession, but the tactics of two ball winners and attack through the wingers is flawed when you have two strikers like Huntelaar and Gilardino, against two CBs like Howedes and Mertesacker. Had Huntelaar they played centrally and allowed the strikers a run at/ in behind Mertesacker, Juve would have won comfortably. This was the managers fault.
Juventus rely heavily on wingers that I'm not sure have enough about them to provide for the front two. Schalke control midfield with good instructions to their players.
Juventus tactics are more statements than instructions,
For instance - you both score goals for fun...get in the box to get on the end of the winger's crosses..both shoot from range and put the schalke CB;S under pressure with your physical presence This instructions says to me be a striker
Shocking tactics from Juve. Only very basic instructions given. Its a shame as Juve has a good squad but really need to detail the tactics better (as everyone else does).
A flat looking Juve set up and again uninspired tactics gave Schalke an easy win. Schalke instruct their players well and have a much more well thought out plan to the team.
Leverkusen 2-1 Valencia
Leverkusen midfield dominate the game. Kanoute and Borges are starved of chances. Gameiro gets a brace.
Took advantage of a mistake at the back in a rather dull affair.
Strong Leverkusen midfield dominated the match .
Valencia can exploit Leverkusen on the wings, but the CB pairing is capable of dealing with aerial threats the majority of the time. Leverkusen have good passing footballers in their side, and the style and formation suits them. I see their wingers switching and movement causing problems and winning the match.
A close fought match earns a draw for each side,
Good counter attacking play from Valencia and it pays off.
Very well written out tactics from Valencia and a deserved first win of the season for them.
Roma 2-1 Everton
Everton’s formation completely starves the game of any chances. Roma just can’t break through although having a lot of possession. Everton make minor chances. A bore 0-0 draw.
Everton stood strong and scored early, Roma launched a lot of attacks but couldnt break down Evertons defense.
Everton's approach invited too much pressure from Roma.
Although Everton's defensive set up holds Roma up, I think they'll break through in the second half with a Podolski rocket and Everton will concede another after coming forward more.
Good performance by Everton but the lack of width eventually costs them, losing out narrowly to 1 goal.
No width from Everton and very defensive. Marin uses the width well for Roma who pick up the win.
Roma’s plan to run at the central defence backfired with Everton solidifying it with the addition of Yobo in the mix to create a wall.

Errrr get it right Viva. I saw CF had sold Malouda and asked him whether he wanted any wingers. I then said Kalou was available. Then I left it at that. Neither he or I actually talked offers.
Just after, and totally unrelated I saw he had brought Downing for 16 MILLION. Hence my comment. If he wants to spend that amount of money on Downing that is CF's problem I know for sure that he is his own man with his own mind, so would not be influenced by what others thought. You are being disrespectful actually thinking he would.

Yes you wanted to sell YOUR player to CF and that is why you made a comment on the Downing deal. Funny I didn't see you make a sound when I sold Ramsey for £20m or other players for over the top deals.
This league is based on what others think of your squad so yes it can CF influence just like it has can and has happend to me and many other managers in this league nothing disrespectful about that.
