LV= Cup: Cardiff Blues 45-40 Harlequins
Well, the 2000 people that went to see this LV game just before Wales - Ireland wouldn't have been too disappointed, it looked to have been a pretty exciting game.
A hat-trick for Tom James aswell, though apparently Henson gave away an intercept and was subbed.
Blues also had to play the second half with the Hooker Tyrell playing on the flank.

LV= CUP: CARDIFF BLUES (24) 45
Tries: James 4, Hamilton, Cook Cons: Blair 6 Pen: Blair
LV= CUP: HARLEQUINS (14) 40
Tries: York, Stegman 2, S Smith, Chisholm 2 Cons: Clegg 4, Urdapilleta
Cardiff Blues ended their LV= Cup campaign with some pride restored by gaining their first win in a high-scoring thriller over Harlequins.
Chris York and Seb Stegmann tries gave Quins the lead, but Blues stormed back as Tom James, twice, and Luke Hamilton crossed for a 24-14 half-time lead.
Wing James added two more tries after the break, while lock Macauley Cook was driven over for a sixth Blues score.
But Sam Smith's try and Ross Chisholm's brace for Quins ensured a tight finish.

Thankyou very much, I was half and half about going to this, now I wish i did.
But after a expensive week with my partner I decided to keep my cash.

Correction, Tom James got 4 tries
What comes after a hat-trick
Knowing B&B though, they will still pick Czekaj over him :/

Looks like a good game. Positives to take- Clegg gets some gametime at 10, Lowe is back (though that's an early sub I'm worried...), York played well and Guest is getting gametime.
Note that the Blues score a lot of tries when Henson, much as he erks me, is playing and Parks is not...

Henson had a shocker apparently.
Sweeney playing might have been the difference, but I didn't see the game so can't comment.

Why are you comparing Parks (Flyhalf) and Henson (I/Centre) ....................... Sweeney v Parks yes
By the way Henson didnt have that good a game and was replaced by Lualala after 60 mins

Fair enough. I assumed that with no Parks they'd want to start Henson at centre

2093 was the official attendance with kids admitted for free, half price for adults (or £8) plus free admission to the premier lounge to watch the Wales game. What would the attendance have been without these generous offers?
A no holds barred, warts an' all discussion would be the order of the day I reckon.
Will it happen?
Nah.

That is poor but I assume it was effected by being on the same day as the Wales int.
Sounds good that the Blues put away a load of tries, but they conceded a load as well.
their backline is going to be very tasty when the ints come back with 1 exception
- Blair, Cuthbert, Lualua/Henson, Roberts, Halfpenny, Parks/Henson, Williams.
