Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
I beg to differ:
Cech
Terry
Cole
Essien
Lampard
Mata
Torres
Drogba
A few are in poor form but there's the backbone to a class side there.

Kam might want Juventus cherries. Doubt he will though. And why do you want them for? Choose the Super Scousers Liverpool. They have Andy "35M" Carrol in their team. I rate him slightly better than Heskey.

Moring
What does that matter, this thing is only handing in a team sheet. It dont matter about form or backbone of a team as you have no tactics.
Sorry pull but im dubbing this "The Wannabe League" as its just not a league and you havent giving me a team

Macclads - a choice for crazy to either have RVP or Gerrard and Suarez
Tough choice
Happy with Chelsea. I thought they would have been taken

Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
RVP in the other league is pretty much THE player, his name on the team sheet equals goals, obviously here thought the pool of players is of higher quality but he's still a potent threat.
Still not decided whether to have the remaining team or go for one of my own choice (Porto, PSG, Napoli, Dortmund, Valencia, Lyon etc)

Arggh.
I was hoping it would have been an easier choice than that as I was going with Dortmund over Liverpool.
Arsenal though is a different kettle of fish.
Hmmmm.

I personally disagree on that but I think I will stick with the Gooners as there seems to be a leaning towards the Premier League in this.

Is it squad size 25 max at the beginning? If so think you may need to trim yours down a bit Kam.

Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
The squad should be 25 before the first game - isn't it?
I'm sure many teams have above 25 players so best to get rid and also release before the start of the season
Good luck all

Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
Pull whats the rule on loaned players?
As I have Henry/Benayoun in on loan, personally I don't want them clogging up my squad if I can't at some point offload them, but I have a fair number of guys like Bendtner, Denilson that are out on loan from myself that I could sell for a quick buck.

Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
Kam - squad size is 25 max as of now (ie you can't put in more and release them)
I'll allow a increase for foreigns ONLY between the time that foreigns open and releases open but that's it
Should put that in the rules.
Maclads - loans IN are allowed to be in your squad, loans OUT are not allowed in your squad

Are they classed as being loans in? As I might as well not include them if thats the case if I cannot sell them.

Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
Henry and Benayoun are loans in, yes. You should include them though and take maximum advantage of the 25 player rule. There is always releases and outside bids if you cannot sell them.
To pre-empt a possible question, outside bids are where I, once a month, make a bid from a foreign side (eg. Rangers) for one of your players that you have indicated you don't want. You can then accept/reject.

Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
Yep, at some point next week (probs Friday) releases will open. Please note, however, the release cash if HALF of their current value.

Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
I shall keep that in mind as some (including me) do try and overate their players when selling and underate when buying.
