Sorry bud. Good player but not rated enough to make a difference to any deal.

Looking for last hour deals?
I've been looking for last week deals, apart from offering my entire squad for Stewart Downing I'm getting nowhere.

If no one wants Muller I am very tempted to release him for the juicy £15m I'll get.

Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
It is very weird in this league having two quite different views going on. One which is very continental in outlook and rating the German clubs etc whilst not seeing the Premier League, whilst the other being the opposite and not rating players from clubs outside the Premier League and the main two in Spain.
Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
I agree.
Not seen too many German games but from what I have, I am impressed.
Would be good to see the sides competing in the CL quarter finals and onwards apart from Baryern

I like him (but then again I seem to be biased towards Bilbao). I read something today that suggest Liverpool might be in form him but that might be a step down for him.

Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
Munich are looking very good again (despite the poor show last week in the Champions League) but the club to really look out for is Dortmund, some very good players there if they can keep hold of them in Gotze, Hummels and Subotic. They've also bought Reus for next season who's possibly the most inform winger this season in Europe.

Right unless people want to offer me more than the release values then the following players may be getting released:
Song
Sahin
Koscienly

Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
And who owns him in all the currently running leagues on 606v2?
Yeah that Leverkusen team is looking incredibly dangerous but only if they can keep their stars.
Munchen are looking good. They've signed Shaqiri for next season too.

I have him in one of my team's in ja606. I had no idea who he was other than he was a fullback but I've been informed he's a great player.

Would be a very decent signing if its the case. Seems Wenger is moving onto the Germans now from his usual French & Spanish influx.

Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
A move to Barca though makes him just a cog in the machine and possibly only a spare cog at that, he could become the next Ibrahimovic from a move there.
Stay at Arsenal and he's the main attraction.

Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
I don't think he would suit Barca's style for some reason.
However, I don't think Arsenal are in such a mess whatever the media states.
When Arsenal lose, it gets blown out of proportion.
We are still currently 4th and I do think we are better than Liverpool and Chelsea currently.

Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
I very much agree with the last statement, at least at Arsenal there's shoots of encouragement with the age of the squad as always.
Liverpool apart from 2 or 3 players just don't have any quality at all, Chelsea are falling apart at the seams and until the old brigade lose their power in the dressing room no manager will have a chance there.
Also don't think RVP would suit Barca at all.

I'm just hoping for 4th spot this year so next season, we can bring in a couple more top players and challenge the big boys again.
CL qualification makes so much difference to bringing in quality players

Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
It's rare though that you go out and buy a 'top' player but like Utd a player that can be improved in the style of the club. Top 4 though is crucial, a young player wanting to put himself in the shop window for an eventual move to Real/Barca (which just seems all young player's dreams nowadays) would probably not consider going to a club without the CL.
Eriksen is one I think would be perfect for your club.

Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
True with everyone wants to play for Barca or Real but in all honesty, wouldnt shouldnt they?
Careers are short and if they get to win, great.
I think it is all about timing your move....Henry did the right thing.
Eto also did the right thing to move to Barca.
So shocked that nobody has bought Eto in this league....However he would cost around £26m+

Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
What would you do with Chelsea Guv?
Personally I'd take the hit of a year of hardship and get shut of the guys in the locker room who feel they control it like Terry/Lamps/Cole etc.
It seems the power in that club is very much in the wrong hands with Roman calling shots from above and the players from below and whichever manager goes in just gets put in no-mans land destined to fail.

Roman meddles to much and should have let Ancelotti complete control.

The Italian league is really improving again of late and the German league is for me the most competitive about and 8 points separate the top 4 at the moment (was less until this past weekend but 2nd beat 4th).

Re: Fantasy European League Homepage™
I agree with you mate, get rid of the old guard and let AVB have his 3 years, unless we're suddenly losing every week and fighting relegation when it becomes more obvious that the problem lies with AVB as much as the players.
For me, not enough of the players are putting in a shift. They are not giving their all and as highly paid professionals that is not acceptable, especially to the fans. That is one reason why I want rid of Drogba and keep Torres. Drogba only puts in the effort when he feels like it, which is getting less frequent by the season. Torres is having a shocking time but he does put the effort in. His movement and running off the ball is still excellent despite his lack of goals.
Whoever took on the dressing room was always going to have a tough time. I don't think AVB knows who he can trust to play for him hence his continuing playing of Bosingwa and Meireles who have both had poor campaigns really but do at least seem to be putting in the effort.
AVB is buying some good young players and we have a few at the club already. I'd be tempted to go down the Arsenal route and start playing them regularly. It's the only way they'll really improve as a group.
The media don't help. They blow things out of proportion and stir up trouble. Roman is interested and that is his entitlement when things aren't going well. He wants to know why. I would too in his position. He has to decide who to back. AVB has got so desparate for backing that he is publicly asking for it but Roman never speaks publicly and Buck, Gourlay etc cannot give that assurance since it is Roman who makes the final call.
For me, take the hit and accept a drop in results in the short term to, hopefully, come back stronger in the longer term. Getting back Jose would only be a short term thing and is not the answer.

He's alright in the short term, personally I'd have gone with Hart as he's going to be in the team barring loss of form etc for 10+ years.

Happy to see Parker captain. He's a good choice more so against a top team like Holland. Going with experience over youth.
